Just reading through some of the comments, moaning about Rob saying whatever in the wrong context, fuk sake, some people are absolute melts! This is one of the best channels on here by miles, if you don’t like it then go watch something else 🖕🏻

Another great episode. People have to remember that the dialogue is not scripted. They just tell it as if they were sitting having a cup of tea with you. Love it.

I'm convinced that in a past life, Chris was a master craftsman who likely built and repaired the gilded carriages for the Royal family. The man is incredibly talented and it shows in the finished product that we see again and again. Very entertaining project guys. You are both exceptionally talented, but I just had to throw that bit in about Chris because it is well deserved. Looking forward to the next one.

Hi , great job! I've just done a similar repair on a 2023 520d m sport touring, having the rear bumper loom off didn't affect the tailgate operation on mine! Check around the hinges for any obstructions that may cause binding or friction/resistance, hope this helps!
@retrogeezer
@retrogeezer 26 күн бұрын
It's absolutely nuts that minor damage like this is writing cars off. This was bread & butter work when I was in the bodyshop trade back in the late 80's/90's. This kind of job was in every single week of the year, no daft marker on the cars after the repair! Oh, and I'd just try painting the tailgate first and see how it looks. The paint will look different because of the angles anyway (I'm sure Chris knows this anyway) and it's a shame to paint the rear quarter panels imho.
