You guys are making this look too easy. I bet the bodgers took more time to do a bad repair than you guys are doing it the right way! Just shows that skill and right equipment are key. Well done for fixing a dangerous vehicle! Wishing you both and your families a great Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thanks.

Nice to see people explain what actually happens- you pull the chassis leg, with the load offset as much as the clever man says, so it pulls it out and bends it straight in one go- the exact reverse of the load which caused the damage in the first place. Too often, you hear smart-alecs in the pub say, "We've got a £xx,000 computer-controlled jig", and their customers automatically think that they are bona fide. The real investment is inside the heads of the blokes repairing the damage.

This is a lesson in how you value your time as money Do you spend hours bogging up wings and cutting and welding panels which probably took tens of hours or do you do what the professionals have done (Chris and Rob) and value their time constructively and spend a £1k doing it once. Knowledge is value Well done Rob and Chris Brilliant as usual 👏

The state of the Fiesta when you bought it was awful. You should report the seller to trading standards, this would possibly save someone's life, the repairs are so bad the car could be a potential death trap. Hope you and Chris have a great Xmas 👍👍
@justbreakingballs2 жыл бұрын
Does anyone listen? He just purchased it of a guy who owned the car. They have no idea who repaired the car original. Plus trading standards wouldn't do jack shit. Also the seller wasn't doing anything wrong as he sold it to these guys who were going to repair it.

Loving the videos - only comment is about audio quality sometimes. Have you ever thought about getting a mic kit for your phone? Sometimes its bang on, but other times, if your phone is further away it's hard to hear you. Minor niggle tho - the main part is the repairing of the cars - which is top notch.

Thanks for taking the time to strap your phone to the ceiling to show us how you corrected the small errors of the previous repair. I'd be very happy to buy any of your work. Unfortunate some tradespersons would consider that such a late model car be acceptable. I would like to hope in the motor trades UK that there is a place that apprentices are taught in a way like Chris teaches, your videos are ample evidence that those skill sets have been acquired over many years of dedication, thanks for sharing with the KZbin public over 2021. Merry Christmas & thanks for sharing your end of year wind up. 😉🤗🥳👌👍

Merry Christmas you two. I think the UK probably needs tighter re-test's post repair work (especially for CAT S cars), to check that crash bars are in a safe condition. A standard MOT inspection does not seem sufficient.
