the joy of fixing the problem is bigger than the disappointment of finding out it had one!! Rob, you have to get up very early to pull the wool over Chris's eyes i think he had sussed you were up to something but he was well chuffed with your handy work 👍

I do love how Chris makes pulling these dents and damaged areas look so simple but im sure it takes years of experience and the correct equipment. Well done Rob in finding those damaged wires. Well done Rob finding those broken wires, why do people worry that you are repairing these cars incorrectly one thing your not is cut and stitch merchants like we had in the 60s and 70s. Hope your luck keeps going.

I bought a 2023 Ford focus from Belfast and had the same rat problem luckily enough they only ate the back seats and scratched at some of the interior plastics! They did offer me a refund when I collected the car but I took it anyway as I won it cheap

Hi Rob my wife’s 10th generation had soy based insulation on the engine wiring harness they chewed the coil pack wiring an auto electrician told me to spray water mixed with peppermint oil around the engine bay the critters hate peppermint oil all the best Les👍👍👍

So many times been in that position looking for an issue. The joy is immense when you finally find the cause. On a side note. I strongly advise a safety strap when pulling with the dozer. Great video

Rats and mice, love plastic wires --- its the plasticizer to make it flexible. Same in sheet plastic sheet material -- does not do them much good but they cant resist the stuff. Need to get all that carpet and seats Steam Cleaned

the art of any accident repair is to read the impact and pull from there, I was taught the trade back in the 50s, none of your modern jigs then .

I have to say Rob, I found myself getting as excited as you with that wiring and I even punched the air when it started - well done Sir, well done!! You've actually inspired me to now get my E60 back from the garage that's ignored it for a year and fix its crank, no start fault myself (before anyone asks, I'm an electronics engineer by trade).

Well done Rob on your investigation, and repair .But it really was making me cringe when you were touching you eyes and mouth - yes I know you had cleaned the area with sanitiser etc - but I think you should at least of had some gloves on. Rats piss is very nasty stuff and you can't be too careful. Keep up the good work 👍

If you hadn't known a mouse or rat had been in there, you would think it had been sabotaged, with how symmetrical it had chewed through then wires! A main relay and brake light switch wires. That's the tell tale of sabotage. But Brilliant that Rob found them and Chris can stop thinking you bought a huge paper weight! 😀

Hi Rob and Chris, well that scenario changed quickly guy's. Well found and repaired Rob, the bodywork will be a doddle for Chris. This will be a nice repair and nice car at the end of it. Copart seem to have an issue if cars are coming out with vermin in them, as it could be a massive additional diagnosis and repair. Alex.
