Chris is old school. I’ve worked under managers who would say “you just need to drill it out and tap it” but they wouldn’t have a clue how to do that. They would approach it with a masonry bit and the drill on hammer!! Through out my working life it’s always made me chuckle when told “you just need to blah blah blah”

For that snapped stud that was recessed, you could get a bit of 8mm stud with a small hole in the middle and screw it into the hole. Then you use that as a guide to drill a pilot hole precisely in the middle of the broken stud further down the hole.

Great channel guys, it’s great to watch people with experience rejuvenating these vehicles, albeit sometimes you need a donor vehicle to get a good one. I purchased a 68 plate transit connect, from the midlands last year, it had done 142k but it had a new engine replacement in 2022 under warranty by Ford, strangely there is no service history on the vehicle, and I believe it may have been subject to a non disclosure agreement, I do fortunately have all the receipts and paperwork for the installation of the new engine, but the owner has been removed from the invoice, the spec of the van is insane, and am very pleased with it, it did have a slight tear in the air intake hose, which threw up a engine management light, which also prevents the engine completing a DPF regeneration. I have purchased an Autel scanner now, so hopefully I can diagnose my own faults going forward. Keep up the great work very inspiring.
