I got as far as getting hard mounts built so that I could start fabricating my own engine mounts and pleading the front area of the frame in my car accident injury flared up bad and it has been that way for a while. She was just sitting there getting dusty.

Awesome build!!! But it would be nice to see you guys do an actual budget build. Maybe do a challenge where you only have a low dollar amount to spend, then see how you guys choose to spend it. It would be great to see how someone with the skills you guys have spend that budget

If our channel grows some more, or if we have more people buying merch we might be able to do that! We're still a working shop, so unless we're doing a SEMA project, what's happening in the shop has to go back out to a customer. We did just start our white C10 project, which is more of a budge fixer-upper!

I just put a 383 stroker in my k20. Im not mechanically inclined, so an enginee swap was a big deal . Im still figuring out little issues. My starter gear was rubbing on my flex plate so I had to get that fixed . Now everything seems to be working nice. Trans, transfer case next and paint ;)

The LS 6.0 364 is still a small block chevrolet and probably only slightly bigger than the engine this truck originally had

Because there was no reason to. All of the rings looked fine and fit perfectly in spec. They won't do anything differently that new rings would do

Not my build, but please use proper connection at sending unit by using an 87 sender. It has the correct FI connections. You’re asking for a fire the way you guys did it. Otherwise, great job.

Yeah. But you should really only be adding oil when you're changing it. If you're constantly adding oil to it, it's not built right.

Yes. The truck was fuel injected until the EFI system that was in it started giving the customer headaches. So he went to a carbed set up. We're just bringing it back to what is was as this point!

There wasn't any scoring on the cylinder walls and they all sat well within the tolerance limits for an in-service engine.
