I was an ex sports journalist (I do triathlon) and I dont want cast aspersions here but triathlon needs to do better testing and I'm not talking watts here. It is a sport so selective in its approach to doping that is laughable at times, hiding behind the 'lifestyle sport' schtick. I wrote an article some 4 to 5 year's ago about doping and not one outlet wanted to publish it, in it i mentioned Olympic champions, ex World IM champions and other associations with dodgy coaches. Unless the sport faces that elephant in the room I won't be celebrating these victories or results, I'll be taking a large dose of scepticism with most of them. I'll leave you with this though, the 1st ever Olympic triathlon, if truth be known on both the mens and womens, 2 of the medalists won them fairly, nothing has really changed in 23 years, herein lies the problem.

The high power is attainable naturally. Just need a good bike fit, keto diet and aero bike with disc brakes so you can carry more speed thru the chicanes and corners.

Absolutely. The three pillars to elite performance. If doubters put more time into perfecting these and less into scepticism, they too could be world champs one day. It’s a shame they don’t believe in miracles.

One thing to take into consideration. Sam spend nearly a month with the Canyon team studying and optimizing the course. Plus Sam lives near there which means he knows the course really well. And that's something that can makes you gain a lot of time, outside power output

2:30 - I’d say that distance is pretty accurate. Cam Wurf’s strava upload had his recorded distance at 178.6km, but he didn’t start recording for about 60-70 seconds out of T1, so you can add in another km to that. Add in a little bit of natural variance and id say the course was bang on 180km.

Also there is GPS dropout from tunnels. When I clicked "adjust distance" for my ride it took me from 178.5 ish to 179.7

Strava reports weighted power which is not equal to normalized. It can be 5 watts different or 20 watts when comparing the raw fit file on training peaks to what Strava shows. My AP was 20w lower than my NP on the race Sunday

Ask Greg Lemond or even Mike Asenden if this is feasible for an unaugmented human.

Greg doped. Look at who he beat and how juiced cycling was back then. Michael Ashenden quit working in anti doping becaus he said 'it is just fruitless...the testing is just so easy to pass what is the point??;

They have drug tests though. Also bag checks. It is just about training specific. I mean look at Cookie man. He has a clean tattoo on his bicep and he pushed doper WKG as a retired pro (forced to retire because he was so slow). He is so fast at random times of the year because trains at doper watts. If you just do the training you dont need the juice.
