Agreed. Sam's raw format is one of the main reasons I enjoy his videos. I can barely stomach the over-produced, over-edited, flashy videos of today. It was cool 5 years ago, but now everyone has the exact same formula. Sam's videos remind me of the 2012 KZbin fitness era. Just a dude with a camera giving great lifting advice while killing his own workouts.

Back in the 50’s my dad won the Jr Mr. America competition after working out in a shed with very little equipment. His “finishing” move for his chest workout was the same movement you’re describing at 17:00 but he just used a 2x4 and pressed against himself. About as old school as it gets 🤣
