@dominicbrant19686 ай бұрын
'insane' can be taken two ways. He's judging his physique and strength whilst cycling. If he runs clean for a while, he's probably going to get a really nasty shock. His body, underneath all the bloating and 'pump', is not what he thinks it is. If he enters a competition, he'll realise just how off-the-mark he is either for assisted bodybuilding or assisted lifting. I wish him well, but I'm sad he's having such an impact on kids who don't know better - as it appears he doesn't know better either. I coach beginners bodybuilding and intermediate / advanced powerlifting. The kids openly discuss when 'they'll take it serious and do the gear' and not 'if they one day go on gear'. They have to make their own choices, but my response is usually: you're not good enough for that yet. I'll say this to end my essay: how you train on PEDs is way more different to training on PEDs. I don't often coach enhanced lifters as I don't have the depth of knowledge they need to do it safely.
@spendmoneykwam6 ай бұрын
@@dominicbrant1968That was a solid take and opinion. It was a great read. As interesting enough, the gym can be enough influence as well. I’ve had kids come up to me, asking about PEDS. I don’t even take them, but I’m also wondering why they’re even considering something like that. I can speak on just the effects PEDS have on popular lifting figures. I won’t expose anyone’s business - but to me the tradeoff of strength and physique isn’t worth what you lose currently and in the end. It is what it is, though.

Time and experience are truly an incredible teacher, but having that knowledge since 15 has allowed me to look for and find people like coach greg, and so many others. Life's about growth and I wanna learn and grow as much as possible to be the best I can be. I'm thankful for my mindset but it's hard to see people missing the easiness of checking your ego in all situations and looking for the best info you can truly find on all subjects from the people that are truly invested with the right intentions. If anything I'd love for the youth to realize truly what content is, it's a documentation of growth and even tho it seems antagonistic or just is. Dr Mike from renaissance periodization uses the term Stimulus to Fatigue Ratio (sfr). It’s basically the ratio of stimulus you get vs the ratio of fatigue/damage you cause. And you generally want to pick movements that have lower sfr so that you can get the most from your training while at the same time minimizing injury risk. The way i think about it is that say you’re thirsty and have the option to use a glass to drink from or a bucket. Obviously in this scenario it makes sense to reach for the glass, well same applies here in the context of muscle building. Would you rather be efficient in your training or less efficient and potentially counterproductive? Sure you could dump the whole bucket of water on yourself and get a drink that way but you just wasted water and now your all wet… similarly would you rather precisely target the muscle and reduce wear and tear on your joints and connective tissues or half way target the muscle and cause damage to the joints and what not. This is by no means saying you don’t train hard when you’re being more precise. In fact id argue its actually harder to train that way because not only are you training hard but you have to be mindful of your technique and trying not to breakdown and maintain your form. As opposed to haphazardly lifting the weight up and getting up with the most atrocious form ever. Its essentially going from using a shot gun to a sniper. Maybe hitting the target and if you do kinda randomly or hitting the target every time and with extreme precision. Train smart, train hard, and get swole everyone! Happy lifting!

Drugs play a massive role. You can "squeeze" the 60's all you want on incline but as a Natty you will not get to 280lbs with 5 % bodyfat training this way. As a professional bodybuilder, yes he knows his field. If you want to be big (and) strong as a natural you need to lift the heaviest you can through a full ROM with the heaviest weights you can for that form. I see guys at the gym squeezing, contracting, etc all day and they are small. Sam Sulek has a lot to learn. His range of motion is pretty trash, too much failure training can actually reduce gains and strength and lead to injury and overtraining. A proper warmup with proper jumps arriving to your intended weight can make your Central Nervous System fired up so that you are way stronger than rushing into your desired weight or wasting too many reps warming up to it.

of course gear allows you to exceed to limit of how much muscle you can put on, but his advice is still sound. Going to heavy for 8-10 rep while partialling is shit. Not even powerlifters do that shit on such high rep count. Muscle building works the same for on or off gear, it's just gear makes you build muscle so fast and beyond your genetic limit. Naturally, you'd reach your peak muscle growth with a look of jeff nippard or sean nalewany who both have a very good physic but can't compare to guys on gear.

Ehh, unpopular opinion but ive trained both ways and can say without a doubt heavy weight grows more muscle. Even with the incorporation of sloppy reps every now and then. Sam's training and nutrition advice is great for people wanting to gain size and who are natural. A clean diet with light weight will NOT work to gain serious size for the majority of people.
