Glad it resonated for you Scott. However, the younger people are crazy if they don't familiarise themselves with this teaching - death and illness are our closest companions and the former is the only certainty in life. The Great Master is actually also giving us a road map for how to navigate the bardo of life too, so if we practice the essential principles of what he is teaching here we can be much more confident and skillful at the time of death and during the other bardos as well. With all good wishes.

There is an urge in my heart to understand this fully here on earth. I cannot explain it but deep inside me something is telling me that this is the path I should follow. I have been to Meditational retreats but I am planning to close myself in Buddhist temple so where in Nepal and realize the nature of myself my mind and my formless timeless nature of consciousness. 🙏

Thanks Samaneri great. I see you have 2 versions of "instructions for dying in the bardo". What's the difference? Are they just 2 different translations? Thanks.
@SamaneriJayasara4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, they are both teachings given by Padmasmabhava for navigating dying and in the bardos. However, this one is an extract from the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the other is a separate and apparently the final teaching he gave to Yeshe Tsogyal. So they are distinct teachings but with some similarities in terms of the principles for practice/awakening.
