The sequel is doomed from the beginning without Kim Catrall. You can see from season 1 that she was writers favourite character. She got the best lines and watched from todays point of view, she had the absolute best character arc. Because she is a strong, independent women in charge of her own business and she knows exactly who she is. She doesn't need a man to be complete like Carrie, who in my opinion was always the weakest of all, despite being the main character. I will never forget when she broke up with Smith, saying she loves him but loves herself more. THAT is strength and THAT is true feminism for me. To feel complete with yourself and not being dependent on someone else.

I love Samantha's savoir-faire. She almost always handled situations gracefully and adroitly in the series, even when she was caught in a compromising position with a society leader's husband.
