Hello, Mr.Megatron, first of all Thank you very very much!! You videos helped me a lot in improving my art skills!! And I wanted to ask, can you please one day make a video about screentones (you mentioned it in one of the videos, how I remember)? There are not so many videos about it but seeing how some mangakas and especially Shoujo use them, there so many things about it. I know you wouldn’t tell everything about it (because it feels more like preference thing) but still interesting to hear from you about this subject

On a serious note, i want to seriously thank you Marcel for helping me. Ive been stuck knowing the direction and path to take for drawing. There were too many areas to go into, too many things to understand, most of the time i felt my art sucked (me comparing myself to others, not great). I was really having trouble improving. It was thanks to your videos that i was able to understand whose tutorial would suit me the best. You have everything i needed, you are the perfect balance for someone who is starting art or is intermediate in it. Thank you, for giving me a path to follow, to understand myself and let myself not feel burdened by my imposter syndrome, and allowing me to take the time to improve through your magnificent videos. I never knew i could improve so much. I know you won’t see this or read this long thing. Nonetheless i wish to show my appreciation being a long time viewer of your channel since your third or fourth upload. There are too many things that you’ve helped me and are helping with on my journey as both an artist and individual that I couldn’t list them all out even if i wanted to. Thank you

Thank you, Marcel. I have been watching your videos for a few months now, and my art has improved significantly. I hope that I can eventually become as good as you are. Your tutorials are the kind of tutorials the world needs because you don’t hide anything and give the helpful tips right away so we aren’t all waiting while you describe why eyes are spherical for half an hour instead of actually showing us how to draw eyes in a stylized or realistic artstyle. You helped me better understand what makes art so good and all the things I do wrong. It’s something that is very hard to find in other channels so I have spent literal hours watching your videos. I hope people realize how good your videos are so that you can pass 2 million subs, and even 10 million! You are the one who inspired me to practice art more, and honestly it isn’t hard to see why! Thanks again and good luck on future videos 😊

Great video. Many big name artists have "same face syndrome". Is it a good or bad thing? Depends. Even with similar faces, one can create unique characters by changing the character's height, body proportions, hair style, hair color, clothing and accessories. In the case of anime, one can further differentiate with the added dimension of the voice actor providing a unique personality. While there isn't a canonical Loomis technique for anime/manga, many Japanese instruction books use a modified Loomis using manga proportions. There are guidelines for a number of things such as where to draw the female or male mouths in relation to the nose. How to draw lips. How to draw eyes. Poses. You don't need a Japanese drawing manual for that if you analyze your favorite manga and anime.

I still don’t understand why “same face syndrome is bad “ because in many popular animated shows, Professional artists, and everyone across the board has a “same face” problem and people just ignore that aspect. When many of these professionals are good at what they do. Idk tho just my observation. Great videos as always! I need to practice faces. Spent too much time studying anatomy 😬

I am currently studying arts, and never understood, why art teachers, would ban me from drawing manga-style the first months, but after watching this video, I understand, that I HAD he SameFaceSyndrom, and after practicing with real life faces, my art style actually had an improvement, blending what was my own art style with my "mental library". And my fanarts and OC's looks much better since then, and I keep working on it at classes and home :)
