In the first two races, everyone in the comments saw how he was slowing down before the race ended (his fault or not), but no one in the video was making that aware, so judging by that, I’m forced to assume that there was nothing wrong with the car and that the driver is the one who keeps slowing down before the race ends, therefore “Driver mod”

these races always have something go terribly wrong for one side or the other. The GTR is clearly faster but because it hit a brick wall cut off the R8 skates by. I hope they can work out that issue and re-do this.

He forgot he was supposed to let him win which his why he let off towards the end of the first race. Little known fact. When the G-TR first came to the U.S., they raced it against 3 other cars. There was adrag race against a Z-06 where it won by a 10th of a second. The next race was a road course against another brand new car, the Audi R8. The G-TR spanked it. The driver of the Audi said the G-TR made the R-8 feel slow. After that, the R-8 came with a V-10. I wanna say the 3rd race was on the Nurburgring against a 911 GT-3 RS which it also won. The name of the magazine was MPH.

GTR limp mode....... probably no engine light either. Check the readings on the pressure sensors in the transmission (especially under load or hot). Happens all the time.
