Parliament needs to be revamped seriously speaking. You can have the speaker from the ruling party. You can not have a speaker from the opposition party. There is need to have an independent person chosen from the public domain eg the judiciary or Malawi law society, or from retired private/civil servants. Mr sulemani is quite right.
