You really have to expand your musical pallette. Kenny is a one trick pony. One of the most boring unimaginative kit men on the scene. Saw him on the Satch Vai tour and he nearly dragged that band into sleep. Ends every song with the same mono minded flurry. All he can do is keep solid time.

A lot of professional drummers use clicks on stage who along with the rest of the band and artists! Shows are built around using the click for lights, cues, etc.. If you had a clue all drummers and musicians should be practicing with a click. I cannot stand ignorant people who think they know things and are soooo far from knowing anything. I had about 48 hours to learn 4 sets of country songs that i never played live, never listened to. I used Kenny’s process of writing out little charts with notes to get through the gig and it worked! It wasn’t in front of a huge crowd of people who paid a lot of $$ for tickets but it was a paying gig nonetheless!

I dont know who Kenny A is connected to. But it has to be someone real big in the biz. Because he is one of the most boring one dimensional drummers I have ever seen perform live. He made Satchs band boring on the Satch Vai tour. I mean give us drummers someone to get excited about when you go on tour. Or maybe hes just the cheapest mercenary around. Sure he stays in time. But he has absolutely no imagination or chops to go with it. He ends every song with the same predictable flurry and cant improv or vamp to save his life. I feel sorry for the bass players that have to play with him. He offers no challenge at all.
