I think the reoccuring theme is that these two are British members of Parliament that can't actually be arsed to partake in any way whatsoever, every sketch is set during or after some important meeting, but all they care about is stuff like how good the lunch was, visiting their mistress, where they went on holiday, etc. They're basically slackers leeching off the accomodations there.

Completely implausible sketch. 1) You need to be gold to get into the QANTAS club. 2) There is no way a politician would fall asleep after Kingstons and coffee. They work so little they can't be worn out, and then you're adding cafffeine and sugar. 3) Completely unrealistic skin complexion. No one is that pale and sickly.
