Samoa are my favorite girl scout cookies! I can't wait add these to my Christmas candies! Mrs. Lori, I am home sick with covid and my husband is taking real good care of me. He made your homemade sandwich bread and it is the best bread recipe we've ever made! I just saw him cutting his 4th slice and when I asked if he was having another piece he said he had to straighten the loaf up!

When I was 21, I was ill and Hospitalized for a week with IV's. When I started to gradually eat food, I begged my Mother to smuggle a box of Nilla Wafers into the Hospital for me. Funny that was the one thing I was craving! Thanks for sharing this recipe Lori...I am CooCoo for Coconut!!

We love Samoa's around here, I have that same chocolate dipping tool, have the dipping forks also, you know I find freezing and using a toothpick works better for me, the forks are handy for a few candies I have to dip but hard to get it out of the spoon one. You would probably love one I make, take a kraft caramel, smash it down, round the edges, cut a large marshmallow in half, put on top of caramel, hold together with a toothpick and dip in bittersweet chocolate. To remove toothpick in candy, gently hold candy down with another toothpick and pull out the one holding candy together, fill in bare spot by swirling hot chocolate on top. A family favorite around here.

That looks so good - I had found yall a while ago then finally found yall again- I was born and raised around Batesville-till I was 8 on a farm close to Cave City-married in 76 -then we lived 3 years in Hardy-then 8 years in Missouri -back to Batesville in 87-89-in 89 we moved to the farm my husband grew up on outside Yates City Illinois-every time we go to Batesville ti visit kin folks we go through Pocahontas and Imboden--nice to see someone close to my old stompin' ground🤣- I am 71 so it usually takes us around 9 hours to drive down there so we don't go that often

Okay, couldn't wait to try these. I know we're going for the "look", but I recommend completely covering these in chocolate. They're to sticky and will not get firm. The chocolate shell would help that.
