Samsung Flex Washer door locked and will not open FIX!

You saved my laundry. It's going to take 5 days before a technician can come and and repair my machine with laundry sitting damp inside. After draining, I was able to unlock the door and rescue my clothes and finish washing them in the top unit. Thanks!

Bro, you saved my life…. My wife had some soaking wet clothes in there for 2 days, while waiting for this repair part to come in….. I told her I figured it out. Lol. She was on my butt, telling me….They better not turn into fungus. After a while, I said I watched your video. Thank you! While I was shop vac’ ing the water out I found my sons pencil erasers, some rubber fishing worms and one of my old Army dog tags was stuck in the screen.

Dude... repair people came to my house and claimed they couldn't fix the machine because they couldn't get the door open and suggested we buy a new one. Your video + 5 minutes of effort and the door was open!

@Mad Lion843 Oh ok I believe u replaced the main control board in the rear of the washer but not the inverter board, my issue is the inverter board that's why we have different part numbers. Thanks for replying

You have to go in through the rear of the machine towards the bottom. You we'll see a plate with some screws in the back and the bottom. There is a control panel in there and there's also one at the top rear of the machine just behind the top flex wash.

It is more than likely one of the control panels. Either the one in the back at the top or in the back at the bottom of the washer. But, it is difficult to determine without testing the panels. Because, I thought it was the top one for me. I replaced it and still the same thing was happening. I had to replace the one at the rear of the washer at the bottom.

If it is a new washer I know that Samsung had a firmware update that was causing this particular error. Supposedly they released a patch to correct the issue. Also, if it is older than it is probably one of your control units. But, again, it will be hard to determine which one it is without testing them.
