Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra - Look At The Difference (WOW)

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be among the first Android smartphones to have a better single-core score than the latest iPhone. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 on the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to boast an impressive single-core score of 3,500 in a Geekbench 6 test, surpassing the reported 3,300 single-core score of Apple's A18 Pro. This marks the first time a Snapdragon chip has outperformed an Apple A-series chip in single-core performance, and this is huge for the Galaxy S25 Ultra and for Android in general.
Also, the sales of the Galaxy S24 Ultra have been revealed.

@@island661 I got my S24 Ultra with a crazy deal Tmobile was having, for $1,000 off, and my trade in for $150, but paid taxes and activation cost. The screen is so much better, I love the flat display, it does make a difference than the curved display. The camera is a lot better, and AI is fun. If you're into the s pen, it's also fun to have the option to use it.

That's great the new Snap Dragon chipset will outshine the chipset on the iPhones. Also, it's great that it's more power efficient. It took quite some time for Snap Dragon to do it, but the important thing is they got it done now. Two more things Samsung needs to do with the upcoming S25 Ultra would be to bring back memory expansion and to increase the screen size. As for memory expansion, the last mainline flagship Samsung phone that came with it was the Note 20 Ultra which I still have. There are 2 TB micro sd cards available now. So, might as well put them to use. As for the screen size, it needs an increase. The S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra and the newly released S24 Ultra unfortunately all have the "same" screen size at 6.8 inches. Historically, Samsung never did that by having four consecutive years of the same screen size. There was always a slight incremental screen size increase annually. The 6.8 inches is smaller than the screen size of the Note 20 Ultra which came in a 6.9 inches. If Samsung increase the height of the upcoming S25 Ultra by 1 millimeter and remove both the top and bottom bezels, a screen size increase to an even 7 inches or 7.1 inches would be achievable easily. If that increase happens, the phone would still easily fit into our pockets.

It all started when Samsung took processors seriously and had custom solutions to custom hardware. This is in contrast to off-the-shelf SOCs for custom confirmations that lack tight integration and optimisation front to end. Samsung is getting there, but reluctantly as they keep dragging sround thst dead horse: exynos. It's great if you get an ulta but sucks as far as series uniformity goes for the regulr s24 and 24 plus. This isnt a trend that isnt going away, unfortunately.

I had the s21 ultra and used it heavily for nearly 2 and a half years. Longest a phone has ever lasted me without breaking screen. I pulled phone out my pocket one day at work and the screen was shattered. I had no idea how it happened it was really bizarre. I baught S23 ultra just before the 24 released. Other than a slightly brighter screen and better quality in the camera which I barely use coz I dont use social media. I dont feel or notice anything difference from the 23 ultra.... oh the battery lasts longer. But literally feels the same phone as the 23 to me. Not sure if it's worth upgrading often because it feels like the same phone to me. I dont necessarily see or feel better performance and all that jazz

So just because the S25 will be using the SD 8 Gen 4 that's suppose to surpass Apple's A-Bionoc chipset, is Apple suppose to not be upgrading their next processor also, so the scores being shown are against a processor that will be deemed old, that would be like Apple comparing the Max 15 to the SD 8 Gen 2, I'm pretty sure they'll be much closer to one another than what your reporting

The S24 Ultra comes with 7 years of software updates. Wait until the S30 Ultra comes out.
