Speed of the LG G6 is milliseconds behind the s8 and the G6 is sporting an 821 chipset from 2016. I am more impressed with the G6's ability to stand next to the s8 while sporting last years chip.

Eirik Tonnies I'm not concerned at all. The Note 7 was the only Samsung phone that had battery issues like that and I think that's because they tried to fit too big a battery in too small a space. 1 phone out of how many with battery issues is a good record. They'd lose all credibility if another flagship had problems. You can even see Samsamg are playing it safe with the battery capacities this time around.

Let me clarify my comment. The S8 is faster than the LG G6 because of the new 835 processor which is 10nm while the 820/821 is 14nm. Let's not get them confused. That being said the 835 represents faster performance. The Snapdragon 835 is 27% faster while consuming 40% less energy, with the overall size being 30% smaller than the previous generation. These are just a few specs, there are more. So in conclusion how can there be a speed test when we already know the S8 will be faster? It's nice that he compared the phones because it shows how fast the LG G6 is next to the new tech S8. LG G6 has it going on with the fingerprint reader in the best spot!.... mic dropped!

What people have to remember is the G6 is using last years processor and even then the difference in speed is minute, so it clearly shows optimisation on LG part. So when the v30 comes out it will the S8. Plus for the price to speed difference i do feel the G6 is a more lucrative investment.

I'll tell you where the LG G6 won a huge point and that is battery life. At the beginning of the video the G6 had 100% battery life and ended the video at "100%" battery life. Samsung in the other hand started at 41% and ended at 38%. If you dont think its a huge deal keep in mind that the actual test was less than 5 mins and the G6 battery is slightly bigger not a huge difference. So much for a not so hungry processor Samsung.

All this make me Wondering if the G6 packs all the S8 have, How much it would cost ? BTICronox mi5 32gb is fragile indeed, my mi5 prime has fallen so many times no single crackm.. without extra case too. just dent here & there on the metal housing 😂😂

He is using the S8 "wrong". You have a pressure sensitive homebutton on the S8, you don't have to pull up the navigation buttons when they are hidden. Just press the homebutton area with a bit more force and you will always return to home, doesnt matter where you are or if the buttons are hidden.

for these experiments to be more accurate you can maybe go to the developer settings and turn of the frame animation and such to have the pure response power of these devices.

G6 having a older processor still gives s8 a run for its money..not impressed by the s8 performance..not counting that in some months the s8 will slowdown and lag.G6 for me.
