I used to feel the same way, then I tried the AirPods and beats x. I can’t go back to the headphone jack after experiencing how convenient Bluetooth headphones are now. I thought the sound quality would be bad, but it’s pretty much the same. Batteries last all day, and I can move around the house, and leave my phone on the desk. Just put them in and go. Wired ones feel cumbersome now. The headphone jack is going unfortunately. It’s not if, but how soon it will go. It’s worth trying a good pair, you might be surprised like I was. I know a lot of android users who use the air pods, even on the android reddit they where rating them.

I don't have either of the phones (or either brand for that matter), but I personally think the s9 is a clear winner here. Even though the iPhone has better benchmark results, it is not faster. Just check everythingapplepros video. Also, according to mrwhosetheboss, the battery on the s9 lasts longer but it also charges faster. Adding the price to the mix, the only reason why anyone would chose the iphone, is because they love the operating system and/or the design

M1sh6r 1 it depends on your usage; iphones usually fall fast in gaming and camera. They do well in KZbin and probably the best in social media and browsing! The standby time is mind blowing when it comes to light tasks! It will stay on 8+ hours if you only perform light tasks unlike Samsung phones where the UI rapidly drains out the battery for alternative inside tasks without the user's knowledge, the cache and the no.of extensions and programs running in the background is just too high, android is already a heavy software and topping Samsung's own touchwiz makes it more complex, but overall like you said when a moderate or a heavy user takes it, it will blow off before the 6 hour mark

While I admit the Iphone has a better processor and a SLIGHTLY better screen, the fact that the GS9 has a better camera, a headphone jack, expandable storage, and a fingerprint scanner makes it more appealing to me personally. I really couldn't care less about the AR vs. Animoji thing. The fact is these are both great phones that are really neck and neck in my opinion. Which makes the biggest issue the PRICE. Nothing the Iphone X has is worth +$200 over the GS9. That makes the SG9 the clear winner in my book.

Ok, honestly, this video is actually very biased. If you watch other videos comparing the two you realize that the phones are more similar than he describes and the samsung S9 is faster than the X. With that being said, samsung's recording feature isn't better than X for just basic recording. He also criticized samsung for having a similar design the to Galaxy S8 but iPhone has been doing that since the 6 and didn't change until the X and he didn't say anything about that. I have an iPhone so I'm really not on samsung's side but considering price wise for basically the same phone, Samsung S9 is better

First of all I do not like Samsung or Apple but I am objective person and I have few issues with this video. 1. You said that S9+ can't match the Pixel 2 XL. But it has everything better. Camera, screen, design (subjective), it also has dual speakers, faster and newer processor, more RAM (though i think 4 gigs are more than enough) and so on. 2. You sad that iphone X has better battery. Battery is smaller and in iPhone all batery tests where phones were tested side by side S9 had about 30% battery in tank while iPhone had reached 0%. 3. You said iPhone is "faster" just because of geekbench which is just wrong. Sure, iPhone have STRONGER processor, and it crazy powerfull for mobile device, but to say it's faster means it is faster in usage, not just in raw power and numbers, because it lost to samsung in all speed tests. That is same as saying that some car is faster arround the track just because it has more horse power. Either way I really respect your opinion, but simply say I pick iPhone as a winner just because I LIKE IT MORE which is fine, but dont missinform customers with wrong facts.

Eh, watching this, I must say I really, really have great appreciation for impartial Tech reviewers...Jaime Rivera from Pocket Now, MKBHD, Lou from Inbox Therapy (even tho he gets flack), Jon from TechnoBuffalo...because they seem to be one of the few Tech Reviewers not up Apple ass. This is totally one sided. If you want a good review go watch EverythingApplePro's video. He tests everything himself not like austin who looks at some numbers and tells lies. S9's battery lasts longer than ipx's (its been tested go watch it on yt). Ipx is better than s9 when it comes to games but in speed s9 is a littel faster (go watch speed tests). RAM is 6GB on the s9 while ipx has only 3GB of RAM. I cant say anything about the camera because it all comes down to personal preference. S9 survives longer than ipx underwater. Both phones perform well on drop tests. S9's speakers are louder than ipx's. Ipx's face id is better than s9's but s9 keept the fingerprint scaner and the headphone jack

Um. That’s a good thing. No OS should be keeping background apps completely loaded after a few minutes. Apps continue running in the background even if the UI has to reload. It’s conserves CPU and battery. Learn about how software works before you say something ignorant and stupid.

Battery life? What are you smoking? My sister has an iPhone X and she needs to take a battery pack with her otherwise it dies halfway through the day. And I completely disagree with you on the Samsung Software. Yes, Bixby is annoying, but it does a lot more than you give it credit for. If you don't like it, just disable it. You can do the same with Siri or Google Assistant. And the Samsung Apps? Samsung Internet is based off of an open source project called Chromium, and is on par, if not better than, Chrome. Just ignore the apps you don't use and its fine. They don't take up much storage, and it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to slide past it on the app drawer. Also, who auctualy cares about Animoji. Yes AR Emoji is terrible, but Animoji's not making me rush out to get an iPhone X. The technology isn't even impressive. It just uses the front camera, not even the FaceID scanner. Remember Facerig anyone? Its basically just a glorified Snapchat filter.

Animoji does use dot projectors to map your face. Also, it does real time processing and I tried ARemoji, which has a small delay. The technology might not be great but it is impressive. But of course, both of them are redundant.

Well I think both phones are great pieces of technology, but the iPhone is just way over priced. Both phones even out with each other and the Samsung is almost $300 dollars cheaper. Anyone with a decent amount of brain power can come to the conclusion that someone's phones' price is a little bonkers.

Dkota the X’s price is mostly down to its status as a “special edition” phone for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary. Plus it’s supposed to be the tier above the 8 Plus. It’s kind of like how the Note 8 is to the S8. I imagine this year when all the new iPhones are like the X but at a more normal price, Samsung will have some proper competition at that price point

You have to take into consideration that iPhone X will last for 4-5 years, whereas the S9 will be permanently outdated softwarewise, recieving most likely no more than one, extremely delayed, major update before becoming obsolete. So for the S9 you end up paying 700$ for a year and a half of really crappy software support while you pay 1100$ for at least four years of great support with the iPhone.

Well, there's nothing wrong with that. But it is a good ecosystem until you realize that you've been fooled off. Once you buy an iPhone you end up going till buying the latest iMac Pro. I am similar to you apple followers but with android. The S9 clearly checks all the points whereas the iPhone still lacks some features and removed some old ones too. I agree people tend to stay because of iMessages and Facetime but, this isn't 2012 where iMessage had an upper hand over other services. Google's system on the other hand is much more open and clear about what is provided and what isn't.

Rishi - There is more to the ecosystem then just iMessage and FaceTime, Apple has the best smart watch in the market, the best tablet and one of the very best laptop / desktop which all work fantastically well together as well as FaceTime iMessage etc. It is the most coherent ecosystem out there and the reason why Apple remain so successful. Yes I am sure there maybe some who want to leave or have left but I suspect this is a small number of total users and there are many who left went to Android and return back to Apple. Also don't forget Google make their money by selling all of your data and personal info and Android thanks to its openness makes it more vulnerable and less secure. At the end of the day everything has its pros and cons but you have the choice to choose what works for you.
