Great review Tech!!! It was your video that sold me on the Dexnor keyboard case. Loving it so far. Great quality, easy install, two options to place your S pen. Oh and did I mention sturdy. "Heavy like a Chevy sturdy" and that's a good thing!!! When you look at it the weight of the keyboard at the bottom balances out the weight of the tablet on the top. Overall, the weight from the keyboard is necessary for the overall balance of the Dexnor keyboard case. I'm BrickCityNative and I approve this Dexnor keyboard case. Dexnor in 2024 Baby!!!!

Absolutely. I'm still using it too. I think this might even be a better laptop alternative for many users. Sometimes I choose this over my laptop, depending on what I'm doing. It's a lot more compact and flexible in use cases (tablet when removed, laptop when docked). 🙂

When i press Shift+2 , i get " instead of @. When i Press shift+", i get @. It shud be the other way aroumd. I've tried changing the settings in keyboard option but its not working for me. I oogled. ppl say i need to choose the samsung keyboard as Qwerty and Keyboard as American instead of UK. I've done these changes but its not working. Help me out 🙏

I own both this dexnor keyboard and samsung's original one for my S9 FE and I don't really get all the hype for dexnor's product. I mean, the backlight is really cool, but that's all. It makes your tablet bulky, heavy, does not protect it at ANY side, discharges the tablet's battery faster and has an internal battery that needs recharging too, Last but not least it's being sold at the same price. Nonsense.

Hi Andrea, Thanks for stopping by and providing your thoughts. I think your thoughts are valid reasons as to why you might now want this product. They are actually concerns I had initially, especially the lack of protection on the sides since I do remove the tablet occasionally and am afraid I may drop it or bump it against something. I also came from a case that had all around protection and made it more slim. I will say, I like this kit more for when I need to write quickly and don't want to fire up my Window's PC. For example, this comment I'm posting comes from this kit and it's a much more efficient way for me to respond to you. But again, you do have very valid points. 🙂

Just bought the Tab S9+ and I'm interested it trying Dex mode, and I think this keyboard will be a great addition to the Tab. A little pricey, but it sounds like it's worth it.

Hi Grayton, Dex Mode is pretty cool on this tablet because it changes the User Interface to a style more like what you would expect on a actual computer like a Chromebook or Windows PC. And the benefit of this keyboard is the ability to turn Dex mode on and off quickly with a shortcut. I do agree this keyboard is a bit pricey, but I think it's a great option for someone who wants a laptop experience, has the tablet already, but doesn't want to spend even more to buy an actual laptop. 🙂

Hi Gabriel, That's a great question! I just checked, and if you go to your settings and search for "Wheel scrolling speed," you can adjust it from slow to fast. ⚙️ The only issue you might run into is that it may already be set to slow, which was the case for me, but your results may vary. 🤔 On the other hand, you might get lucky, and it could be set to fast, in which case you can slow it down. 🤞 #TechTip #ScrollingSpeed

Great question! I wish it did, Kriston. But it does not. I will say, this is a magnetized system, though, so you can quickly (and easily) remove the tablet to write on it flat. 🙂

Good review however... the biggest issue I've found with these keyboard/trackpad cases is the trackpad. It's apparently difficult to get them to perform smoothly and not jump around. Your review didn't show any real world gestures and how well (or poorly) they function.

If dexnor or any of the other companies doing the same thing as them ever make one of these magic keyboard clones that folds to allow the screen to face up on the keyboard (like the surface laptop studio), I'll buy one instantly. However, only one company seems to make anything like that, and only for the ipad.

Hi, It may be difficult to discern in the video, but the camera cutout does align with my unit. This is held on only by magnetism, so it also depends on whether you align it properly, and it may have been slightly misaligned in the video. 🙂

Considering getting the S9+ and looking for a keyboard, The main issue I have with the Dexnor is that you can't really use the table without the keyboard (by flip it). You need to un-attach the tablet to use it, let's say, laying down in bed. Would you have other high quality covers for the S9+ you would recommend?

Hi Taug, You may have tried this already, but I'd try to cycle bluetooth off and then back on. You can also try restarting your tablet by powering off and back on. I'd also check and see if you have multiple bluetooth devices paired and maybe disconnect from them and/or remove unused ones. If there are also plenty of other bluetooth devices broadcasting as well, it may be hard for the tablet to find the keyboard. I hope some of this helps. Please let us know. Maybe someone can also provide helpful tips. 🙂
