I can't believe they're still going with Wear OS after the major failure with Watch4. I have 2 Gear S3, both 4-5 y/o, battery lasts 3-5 times longer than on my Watch4 Classic 46mm. The animations on Watch4 run at 5 FPS. The bezel is sometimes simply not responding. Plus other problems. And I'm not the only one encountering these things, I've read lots of commentaries on online shops, others experience the same issues. The only advantage with Wear OS is that you can customize the watch faces, but other than that, it's an awful smartwatch. As a watch face designer, Wear OS is better on one single thing: we can integrate literally millions of watch faces into one. However, Google doesn't give a crap about watch faces. Samsung has categories, promotions etc, and a much better platform than Google Console. When Tizen will end, only a few best designers will still earn from watch faces, and will earn a lot, but all the rest will kiss goodbye to their (extra) income. Too bad, it would've been considerably better for both the customers and the designers if Samsung would had focused on Tizen.

I’d like to see the Galaxy watch 5 pro in all yellow gold and a yellow gold band and in a 40mm size for men with smaller wrists, please. I’ve been waiting years to acquire this and it hasn’t yet become avail. Obviously Samsung has the resources to make this.

There is no way they'll get rid of the bezel, i'm sure their marketing team isn't that stupid. Why would they sacrifice looks AND practicality for a hideous, impractical black finger bezel? More importantly why would they release THREE of the exact same watches just different sizes? The pro will end up just a bigger version of the ugly sport versions. You wont be able to put a nice leather band on it and wear it formally. Also, the Pro will most likely have a bezel and be a renamed "classic". Makes no sense for the smaller ones to have a bezel and the large one to have no bezel, because, where are the sport versions gone? The ONLY other option is the small one will be like the active watch, medium will be with bezel and Pro will have no bezel, which also make no sense. I'm willing to bet the Pro will have a bezel and the smaller two will be like the watch actives.

I still am not convinced the physical bezel is gone. I'm just not. The watch 4 was my first watch (I lost it so waiting for watch 5) and I remember the exact same thing up until almost launch day. It almost convinced me to buy the previous version but I've been w samsung for decades and it's their style to make people guess up to last min. I went w my gut and had faith they weren't stupid and to wait lol. I'm not falling for it this time either LOL

Can't see many people splashing out over $500 for the GW5P. Having Sapphire Glass is pointless to me. Because of the raised bezels of all the smart watches I have owned, I have never scratched the glass on any smart watch. Also, because many smart watch wearers upgrade their watches every few years, I don't see any value in this model. Another thing that bears consideration is the fact that the GW5 will be rocking the same WearOS version as the GW4. Anybody looking for a great smart watch should go with the GW4 which just costs €230 where I live.
