I like the galaxy Y it has a great processor and feels high quality for the price but the 3.0" display is not that great but it works fine for me. Really a nice review keep up the good work. :-)

Nice vid. Tell me, did that phone take 56 seconds to get to the swipe screen from pressing the side button like mine does (give or take a few seconds)? a friend of mine has the same problem. Its not like it is very old, as I got mine for Xmas 2012, and it was slow to open then. Very bad if needed in an emergency!!!

Good video's as usual Dave...I dont see ure point with email typing as you can just go to the Android Market and get a better Keyboard App...I use the Alcatel OT990 3.5 inch screen,costs £89 on o2 PayandGo and got Swiftkey X App which i love as it guesses words as i type and looks at all my messages and email and remembers what i type...

I paid $69 for mine. It can be overclocked to approximately 1.25 GHz and I rarely use all of the allocated RAM. If you want a powerful phone, pay 10x as much and get a Samsung Galaxy S4.

I actually do own one. I requested that you STFU if you cannot provide a reason because I'm sick of people bashing phones without doing so. Most of these people bashing this phone try and compare it to phones that cost 10x as much, like the Samsung Galaxy S4. I paid only $69 for mine, and I'd say it has good value for the money. Plus, it can be overclocked to approximately 1.25GHz. Sorry for offending you, but I think people really should provide a reason for bashing something.

If you're a beginner of using a smartphone, i think you won't see any big issues. If you are considering its gaming capability, be warned that this is not for heavy gaming. Though you can still play games with it. But if you would just use your phone for text messaging and calling, you won't see any problems. You can watch reviews of this phone, if you want. I don't have this because I'm having Galaxy Ace that will be shipped in a month.

Dunno how stable it is when overclocked. There had been a fair bit of discussion of overclocking to 1.248 (I think) GHz on the XDA Developers forums.

it's good the only thing is it will randomly go on the internet and drain your prepaid even with wi-fi. the solution is putting it on flight mode with wi-fi on for free internet. and if you need to call just turn it off and back on when you are done, when i just bought this phone i lost 20€ prepaid in a few hours because of the random internet.

You don't seem to understand that "screen off/on standby 90% of the time" means that I actually USE the phone the remaining 10% of the time. Wifi, Internet, music, bit of camera, bit of games, bit of maps, etc. THAT is my point - even 10% actual usage discharges the phone a LOT, and quickly. That combined with the stupidly low RAM and other points i mentioned makes it crappy as a smartphone - its not worth the trouble if you use it for anything more than just calling/texting.

You can change it back by resetting your phone, but I promise you don't bother because the reason why your market icon change because it ungraded itself to google, much better than before...

I have the Galaxy Ace Plus and I broke the screen. My little brother has this phone but doesn't use it much so I borrowed it waiting for it to be replaced and apart from the smaller screen it didn't feel like much of a difference. In some aspects it felt better made than mine. Less Plasitcy.

Awesome phone ...if you root u can almost play any hd game by using chainfire 3d ..and mine is currently running on jelly blast rom v3.0.4 its awesome...try it search on youtube or google..and maybe i will post a video on how to install jelly blast very soon.peace
