I appreciate your content because, unlike many other youtubers, you speak for real. I see a lot of them these days trying to find flaws of Flip 3 (power button and fingerprint sensor placed "too high") while praising new Iphones because of 20% smaller notch and "beautiful colours" (doesn't even have fingerprint sensor). It's not that Flip 3 is great phone, it probably isn't, but it's interesting, different and move forward in industry (even if foldables don't become standard in future) and that's exactly what we need these days !

I'm not going to pretend that foldable devices or flexible displays are the future of mobile tech. However, they will absolutely be a part of that future. Just like VR, there are advantages and disadvantages, but those advantages are enough to allow for their own niche to grow.

I love my Flip3!!!!! I also love your video. I have had no problems with battery and love to be able to fit my phone in my purse or pocket. Camera works well for me and front screen is functional enough

Even though the phone is 1080 pixels wide, its display is slightly _narrower_ than the S21. The dot pitch is ever so slightly higher than the S21, and definitely higher than the S21+

I got my ZFlip.... have been using it for almost 2 weeks. And I LOVE it. And my phones lasts me throughout day. What exactly are you power users doing? 🤔 I love being able to see my msgs on the front screen. I love hanging up the phone with the snap. Because it's small I'm always checking my pockets or purse just to make sure I grabbed it. Selfish camera was a little tricky for me at first but it's cool. No Regrets!!

Great common sense review. I like the fact that you didn’t dwell on the camera or battery. I’ve had the phone for a week now and really like it. I am not a power user so I get all day battery use, and the camera is more than adequate for my purposes. You are right on In saying that for the average or typical user it is a great phone !

Another great review. You made an excellent point: The folding of this phone is NOT a gimmick. The fold allows you to relearn how you use a cell phone. I don't think I have ever felt this emotional about a phone. I love it.

I used the LG v20 for four years until one day I saw a regular flip z this year used. Bought it, love it. Returned because it had a dead pixel. I tried to see if they had another, and I was out of luck. Grabbed a fold 2 and loved that phone. When they announced the flip 3 I jumped on the preorder and traded my fold 2 for it. Yeah, battery sucks compared to the fold but willing to charge in between if I have to. Crease doesn't bother me. I forgot it's there now. I recommend the phone if you're willing to charge it if you're a heavy user.

I'll share my use case for this phone. As I'm reviewing for my exams this definitely helps on keeping me off distraction from social media. You see notifications and nothing else. The fact that it doesn't let me interact from these messages and notifications lets me focus more on the task at hand. It's better than iOS 15's focus mode srsly Frankly when closed it reminds me of a cute mp3 player because the only things you can control here is toggling galaxy buds' ANC modes, skipping tracks and voice recording haha very early 00s mp3 device vibe But with the cover screen's limited use though, other than this particular use case, you can't make this primary phone if you're someone who needs to look at your phone all the time. The foldable form factor is very useful! No need to lay this next to a glass to watch content, no need for tripod I just love it. Great review, honest no BS, very objective!👍👍👍

I went with the Fold 3 and lemme tell yall this is the best phone I've ever owned in my life. It's legit like a small tablet in your pocket, and you don't have to open it all the time to use it. The front screen does everything the big screen does. The crease is there but after a few days I stopped paying attention to it.

Battery has figured me out pretty well by now and I get good results finally. With my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in tow as well, I only open the flip when completely needed. I like not having my face in my phone as much personally. Great video man.

I agree 100% about the form factor: besides the pocket thing you mentioned, there's something about being able to contain the whole device in your palm that feels so much better than holding a big stiff slab. It is fun to open and close. Also agree on the QHD: I'm coming from a oneplus 8 pro but I honestly can't really tell the difference. Of course, I hope they up the resolution next year just because lol. And yeah, the battery could be bigger with faster charging.

I gotta say this. I've had my flip for a few weeks now and I've been spoiled by the convenience. I honestly thought the flex mode was overhyped until I got to really utilize it. I can bend the screen to watch netflix or youtube AND have the speakers face me. Before I'd need to find a way to prop my phone - either with a case or something else - and find a way to angle the speakers to get the best sound quality. The front screen also keeps me from constantly turning my phone on and off for no reason because I'm bored, saying battery and keeping me off my phone longer. Sure we'll see how it holds up over time, but I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements/changes. Also the power button being capable to see notifications and settings is so convenient. I hope other phones incorporate this.

When closed, it's compact factor makes me fall in love & cream color is beautiful & sober. Luckily battery lasts longer then I expected & only flaw I found is slow charging. had this phone for awhile now the only things that bother me now are the fold not being flush and the fact that still so many apps are not optimized for the screens aspect ratio, so many apps are cut off on the sides including big ones like snapchat

You can talk on the phone while it's folded currently. If you have bluetooth buds on and you answer the call with the cover screen. You can chat while it's closed. It only hangs up if you don't have earphones on lol

Just got mine on Monday... went from a S21+ and did not notice it was a 1080p screen. The firt time I folded it, I heard some ruzzlin' from the hinge. I realized it was the bristles in the hinge. Had me scared for a minute.
