@blacman1212 it records sound, and it does have a setting that cuts off sound when you zoom, but you can set a setting to make it record all the time even when zooming.

@Ollebladine it has: 10 second 2 second 10 second/2 second double shot and a mode where it detects motion for 6 seconds and takes a photo when motion stops it also has smile detection where it takes a photo only when you smile

Awesome camera for the price. Picked it up tonight for $119 CAD to replace my 4 year old Fuji 6.4MP point and shoot. This thing is amazing for the price. Colour and sharpness are excellent and the video is very decent from the limited time I've had to play with it. Now I can take this with me everywhere and save the Rebel Xsi for special occasions.

@kingofpop5881 great !! the camera's motto (or whatever it's called) is "get closer without moving an inch" the only bad thing about the zoom is the noise in video, but they have an option so you can mute sound while zooming i'd rather hear the noise though i think there are vids on my page

@jeroenbruekers its great for picture taking, but i wouldn't reccomend it totally for video as the sound ain't the best, but i use software to boost the sound so its not a problem.

@faizangmail its not fake, i just rendered it in 1080p thats why i put a note in the description. it does record 720p the camera has continues focus on smart auto video recording and when zooming it focuses pretty good but makes noise.

@marinamethyst1 i think its quite decent, the 720p hd quality is nice and its actually more real "HD" than other rip off hd cameras (the video quality is actually good compared to other brands) the sound quality isnt the greatest, but i think its great for filming scenery and close up things like an ipod screen or such

@rainbowbabe That because you aren't using the right mode go into the menu and go to photo mode style "children" and every single picture you take will come out blur free

@sttorm25 i've been able to record 720p video for as long as like 1.5 hours maybe 2, and for pictures i've taken like 150 max resolution ones and it still had plenty of life probably a lot more i dont know.

@CeeMargSan I think its a great camera, sound qualitys poor, but you also might be able to find better cameras now since holidays kicked by new ones probably came out

@randomvideos111 UPDATE I bought this camera again because i loved it so much, its definately worth keeping...beats all the laggy, slow, bad quality cameras they all have at the market and its definately a lot easier to use! this time i bought a 3 year protection plan, i'm stayin with this camera forever!

@eklavospice I don't really know if its better than a Canon Point and Shoot cameras, but its better than my dads 3 year old Canon Top End Camera. I think its worth a buy, but with this holiday season around you can get this camera for like 120 bucks or maybe less and idk if theres any other deals that came out for other cameras

Hey I just got the camera and the connection where you plug in the cord is loose as hell and barely stays in the camera, if you barely tough it it comes unplugged. Do you or anyone else have this problem?

Be sure to keep your camera out of water....Mine went through the washer...And well...its DEAD... I would get this camera again, but GALL DANGIT WHY DID IT HAVE TO DIE!!! Looks like Randomvideos111 will be on a break for a while folks sorry!

@marinamethyst1 i have the camera the video quality is great in my opinion especially for the price i bought mines off of amazon used for $120 . and they sell on ebay fo $100-180 :) i'd say get it if you're still thinking about it
