Seems odd that a professional repair demo does not 1. Include a testing of the new LED strips to ensure they work before closing up. & 2. There was no final result demo of the repaired unit (powered on)... Why not?

Hi Guys. Great video, had I watched it earlier I wouldn't have done a full teardown. One observation and one question. I didn't notice the light box surround being replaced before placing the panel and I don't think it was mentioned. Question please, why the plastic dividers when contacting the rear of the screen?

why do you remove the panel from the bezel if you just need to replace the LED on the chassis? can't you just work on the chassis and then re-clip it to the panel/bezel?

Don't you love when the directions fade/cut to the next step but it is painfully obvious that they skipped a step. So far walking through this, it was done twice. Edit: To be fair, I did figure out the missing steps (remove the scan drive boards from the clips before attempting to remove the screen and put the light filter frame on before putting the screen back on) and was able to fix the TV. I could not have done it without this video or the LEDs I ordered from ShopJimmy. I was just annoyed when I watched the video and was like "wait, why do I have this extra frame? Did I miss a step?"

Sir, I want to know that what are that very small ic type black components on led strip near connector of 12V & 24V for 12V it has some number on it (2F E0) and 24 V burnt so I don't know that component number.and I have to replace that component. Please help.

Hi, the top 3 lines of led lights don't work on my tv. I've replaced 1 to Check and all 3 still don't work. Can someone help me, why would only the top 3 lines stop working and won't work with a new led strip?

Boards often check to see that the circuit is OK before powering them. If one of the three is faulty, it may not power any of the three. You should check LEDs individually or in each strip. Then you only need to replace bad LEDs/strips. You may have replaced a good LED strip, or there may be several faulty ones.

Can someone please tell me how many light filters are there? I gave my TV in for repair a year ago. Today, I checked and there is only 1 light filter. Could the other filters have been removed?

Harsh Jasani 2 layers. One very slim, like a paper sheet just below the LCD screen and one thicker, say 2mm after that.
