Once i got my S8+ i kept it well tucked into a piece of clean cloth every time i went out. The "big" exception would be in my pocket, front facing my thigh. Clean pocket. Whenever it was out of my pocket or not in a bag (well tucked in) it always rested on its back, and always on something soft. Extremely careful all over. After 1,5 weeks, i noticed a micro scratch in the middle of the display. Very hard to even spot, unless the screen is viewed upon in very specific angles during strong light. Still, this thing can easily be scratched. I recommend getting both back and front protection from the very start.

niqen the screen protectors available for the s8 plus are all horible and i was thinking of just using a case for the phone but after watching this video I'm starting to get nervous now, what the hell should I do when there are no decent screen protectors that work well with a case for the s8 plus? I'm in a bad situation here I don't want to risk the screen.

My apologies for the delayed response. After noticing this minor scratch (rather minor line) on my screen i had to obtain some kind of protector. I spent some time researching on this as i use an Alcantara cover by Samsung, so i wasnt too keen on getting a screen protector that would fit poorly considering my use of this case. I ended up bying a Samsung S8+ screen protector. It actuallt took me several attempts to get it all set up without any air bubbles, and aligning it was not the easiest task to perform. Might just be me and my somewhat unsteady hands though. In the end this screen protector isnt all that bad, it sticks really good, and it is not in any way interfering with my case. I think it might work well with other cases as well, but be sure to check this out before bying. My protector has now been on for roughly two months, and it has some marks on it, but id rather have that than scuffs or damage to my display. All in all it is well recommended. And its rather cheap. A small price to pay, for the protection youre getting!

Blash Alcasabas it isn't fragile its just very scratchable. Avoid sandy pockets.
