I loved the way he walked his viewers with the entire process of making this recipe with time, it wasn’t rushed at all. This way if someone wants to cook along the video they can, without having to pause and play. Will definitely try this out.

A few comments from an Italian: we use garlic only to infuse the oil, but discard it as soon as it's pale gold. Cheese must never be added to pasta when the pan is over the heat lest it melts. Also, in an aglio e olio pasta we would prefer pecorino romano rather than parmigiano. Always finish pasta in the pan with abundant cooking water (get the pasta out BEFORE it's al dente) so it's useless to shake the pasta dry when fishing it out of the pot.

I do that kind of pasta all the time, love it! I like to saute some tail-off cooked extra small shrimp in the sauce for the extra flavor then add about 3 or 4 tablespoons of sour cream. Kicks the whole thing up to a new world level!

I learned this from you months ago but use chicken, chili power,garlic, olive oil, parsley and penne pasta and my wife looooooovee it. She's Indonesian and never had it but since I made it it's her favorite

not a fan of mushrooms personally, but have you ever added scallops into the equation? they cook a little faster than shrimp but, in combination they work great with pasta. cheers mate
