I loved the way he walked his viewers with the entire process of making this recipe with time, it wasn’t rushed at all. This way if someone wants to cook along the video they can, without having to pause and play. Will definitely try this out.

in Italy we used to make this as hangover recovery at 3 A.M. and it's called "Aglio, olio e peperoncino"
@liviomisgur5964
@liviomisgur5964 5 жыл бұрын
A few comments from an Italian: we use garlic only to infuse the oil, but discard it as soon as it's pale gold. Cheese must never be added to pasta when the pan is over the heat lest it melts. Also, in an aglio e olio pasta we would prefer pecorino romano rather than parmigiano. Always finish pasta in the pan with abundant cooking water (get the pasta out BEFORE it's al dente) so it's useless to shake the pasta dry when fishing it out of the pot.

If you add in cherry tomatoes, black olives and capers, it becomes pasta puttanesca. Another great traditional italian recipe.

I do that kind of pasta all the time, love it! I like to saute some tail-off cooked extra small shrimp in the sauce for the extra flavor then add about 3 or 4 tablespoons of sour cream. Kicks the whole thing up to a new world level!
