It's really weird budget and mid rangers get a charger in the box but flagships dont, and budgets and midranges are usually beatened by old flagships that now go for similar prices used

I hate to be the devil's advocate but I think the charger thing is more from the regulators to reduce e-waste (since your old charger should still work). Mid-ranges and budget tends to be the old models, so they still have the chargers they came with then. The brand spanking new one have to follow modern regulations. Fortunately for me, I never get anything but the most budget of budget pones.

@@dastaniam Because here in the US we don't have Xiaomi or Huawei, as carriers don't support them. There's far less competing brands in general, and none that include chargers would be more than mid-range. It's not like elsewhere in the world where there's more brands to choose from (Xiaomi in particular seems like it nails price-to-performance).

I’m not sure where to go with this; but Casio made a watch around 1985 ( ! ), The Casio 500 that had a touch screen, 6 ? Modes, & 30 different functions, but for some reason failed to keep up with their creative approaches to watch & calculator designs, they had quite a few very clever calculators & watches ?!?

Samsung copied only the orange band.. the sqircle (square+circle) design was their Galaxy Gear Sport design released long back and Ultra name first used by Samsung since their S20 and Note 20 Ultras released in 2019. It's Apple copied the Ultra name but used for a watch which Samsung also started using for their watch this year. But when there are a lot of watch band designs available in the market it's silly why Samsung designers copied the same orange band instead of coming up with some random band by copying something on Amazon.
