I thought it was older, one of my machines with graphics from 2015 is still like 3x more powerful. Granted, it beats the 3090, but that's only because Nvidia sucks at supporting SLI so I've had nothing to upgrade to for a LONG time... and Radeon didn't officially support 4x Vega VII otherwise that was a dirt cheap option as well)

​@@sirbum1918 I used my old PS3 for like a decade (didn't know much about computers as a child), otherwise would have opted for PC as I loved tinkering with everything and still do. With PC there is indeed a lot more that you can do. When I'm bored I'm overclocking, improving cooling systems (even my tablet is water cooled in a Fallout 4 nuclear apocalypses theme with radioactive green anti-freeze going from a radiation barrel to my custom designed waterblock and then to rusty steel pipes). Then I also like BIOS modding, modifying circuits (example hardware voltage bypass circuit mods so you have potentiometer to over-ride voltages), or I've even got an EVGA EpowerV board if you want to saw GPUs in half and zombie power them. I also enjoy cryogenics (almost bought a turbomolecular pump and cryohead just to overclock a raspberry pi to just 7 degrees above absolute zero. Also fun fact those things are sometimes cheap on ebay but you need to know what you're looking for). My first GPU had like a 50% overclock running -60c (that cooler's max recorded temp ever was -35c stress testing with an FX at 1.7 Vcore), so you could see frost forming on the back of the insulation on my daily machine if I forgot to plug in the insulation heater (just kept outside insulation almost up to room temp to prevent condensation or frost building, allowed 24/7 operation). So yep, fully agree, so much more fun and without limits when it comes to PC! I've got everything from liquid nitrogen coolers and dewers to simply things like my gaming PC which runs off 2x 1300w PSUs and just water cooled pulling about 1700w while running Crysis 3 at 4k Ultra settings at over 100 fps. I mean there really is no limit to the customization and its a ton of fun!

You can get what ever you want out of it on your terms and not just locked into limited gaming. You need better hardware? No need to wait 3 years for the next console, just go out and buy the latest and greatest you want and can afford.
