Hey Samuel, first thank you for your videos. I'm a pretty large guy that just started doing kettle bell exercises. Been doing your videos for about a month and they have been everything to me. I would appreciate if you maybe could make some more kettle bell videos for limited mobility incorporating a bit more standing or kneeling on a chair or some along those lines. Wish you the best.

Amazing. Can’t wait to try this. I nearly passed away last year due to necrotising pancreatitis. I was in a coma and this has left me on crutches and at times in a wheelchair. I can’t walk or stand for too long and my movement is very restricted. So, this is absolutely ideal. Thank you for thinking of those of us who maybe in a situation which means we may not be as mobile but still wish to get moving. 💪

I fell a bit bad at the climbing gym and now got a bruised foot. So found that ketterbell and doing some body workouts while recovering ^^. And I just learned out some moves that strengthen muscles I normally not use that much with climbing.

Samuel, Great series of workouts. I came to you because of a ruptured achilles tendon. I'm about to begin the 20 minute upper body triad. I was wondering if you had a warmup for the upper body workouts. Otherwise I'm stuck with the old people warmups. Also should I be adjusting weights on different exercises, e.g., biceps are not challenged, or should I let the rest of my body catch up and then increase weight? Thanks

@SamuelJordanFitness Hi and tks for the 20min workout, I've been doing it 3x per week to cover the bases plus a bit of improvisation after. Question, please answer if you can: what do you think of the kettlebell shape in this video, that is very different from HS or CS? Is it functional or does it force the user to develop bad habits? I have a 12kg in this shape and I'm trying to understand if I should keep with this shape that is cheap, well build, small (I am short and I really want to start doing doubles), but has an unusual shape; or if I should spend more and go for a more traditional shape that is a standard, probably a hybrid style with those dips on the side for the wrists. Also, for long term and budget choice, should I go for a second 12kg for doubles or should I save the money and a bit later get 2 x 18kg/20kg? Thanks!

Is there another tricep exercise I can replace the one shown in the video with? That particular exercise aggravates a former injury. I’ve been doing punches in it’s place. 😅.
@SamuelJordanFitness Жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah! I would suggest bench dips or push-ups if you have the mobility. Otherwise, it’s hard to fit in a kettlebell tricep exercise that isn’t overhead extensions. The punches sound like a nice cardio alternative! Thanks for the comment ☺️🙏

Hi, I’ve been doing this for a week now with a 15kg kettlebell. When should I start expecting some muscle tones on my arms?
@SamuelJordanFitness Жыл бұрын
Hey and we’ll done for your work so far!! The most important thing is that you now stay consistent with your training and increase the intensity over time. Focus on increasing your strength either by increasing the kettlebell weight or by slowing down your reps. You can also start to train into the rests (so longer time under tension and less recovery between sets). Or you can repeat the workout straight away to make it a 30min workout. As well as increasing your strength and endurance it’s really important that you ensure you are eating enough protein and are controlling your overall portion sizes so that you are either in calorie maintenance or deficit (the adequate protein intake will ensure you still build muscle, but the deficit will bring out the definition). A good place to start is 0.7-1g of protein per lb of body weight *or* 1.6-2.2g per kg of body weight. Stay consistent over a long period of time, stay patient and the muscle definition will happen 👊💪
