This fight is beloved, they had one of the SaveDeathBattle Kickstarter goals be Luis, the animator of this fight, animate another one. They easily broke that goal on the first day.

Also, in case you haven't, head DB is going completely independent from now on and might be dropping the seasonal format and just letting the episodes cook. They got the funding for it to start on kick starter and blow past most of goals, and I think they got somewhere close to a 750,000 last time I checked. Right now, they got bardok vs. omniman and Eggman vs. bowser in the previews, and it's all looking fire.

Fun fact about this fight: This fight was animated the way it was because Luis, the animator, said he could do it while drunk. He still knocked it out of the park and made one of the show's finest fights ever.

I recommend you watch to Guts VS Nightmare. If you are unaware who Nightmare is he’s a character from the fighting video game series *Soulcalibur* and I’ll give you a lot of information about him. From what I’ve been told Nightmare wields a large demonic sword with an eyeball called “Soul Edge” and inside rests a spirit named Inferno. Inferno is a demon whose purpose in the Soulcalibur universe is to infect the world with evil and darkness, if Nightmare falls Inferno will risk his own life by manifesting himself with Soul Edge. Soul Edge like I mentioned had shards which broke apart and Nightmare was sent out to find all of them and one of them was forged into a holy sword called Soul Calibur (not to be confused by the game’s title), unknown to most Soul Calibur’s purpose was to combat it’s demonic counterpart and it was the final shard of Soul Edge. If all the shards Nightmare collected fuse together into Soul Edge it will become far more powerful and will transform into Nightterror, his size increases and has fire wings that lets him fly. Soul Edge also possessed many hosts over the centuries like from a dreaded pirate named Cervantes de Leon but more notably to a knight named Siegfried Schtauffen. Nightmare has multiple abilities that nearly dominates a whole cast of Soulcalibur like creating walls of fire, a large beam of light that launches you across the room, and Soul Wave that propels anyone close or far enough to be blasts you away several miles. That’s all the information I have but yeah I recommend you watch Guts VS Nightmare.

Of course Samurai Jack won the dude is much more super human compared to Afro Samurai who is in a much more grounded in reality world Jack fights entire armies single handedly, the most dangerous bounty hunters in the entire Universe, unholy Demons and literal Gods in combat he's nearly unstoppable he's only ever lost twice everyone else he defeated.
