I just wear dresses all the time. It simplifies because it’s just 1 item of clothing to wear, wash, and put away. I have a pair of jeans, shorts, and a t-shirt too just for dirty days like cleaning out the garage. That’s all I need. 🙂

If you pull out the drawers and put a thin piece of wood over them you would also have more desk space. You could then store the piece upright beside the desk. Same piece of wood could be used across the arms oa a chair as a portable desk. (Use one outside when I'm reading and want to take notes.) 😊

The nose mint item is actually an aromatherapy inhaler. That specific one looks like a Vick's vaporub one to me. Pharmacys, grocery stores, and health stores here sell various ones over the counter for opening airways, anxiety, sleep, and headaches to name a few uses. They are very helpful for homeopathic remedies to help take the edge off ailments. Can also find them online too. I've used the vics one as well as headache and sleep ones as well.

I need to get myself some tenugui next time i have need of towels. They seem very useful and come in fun patterns. Thos "Aladdin pants" are commonly called "harem pants" in Englis. Theyre modeled after middle eastern Shalwar (trousers), though i have no idea which ones moreso at this point in history. There are quite a few styles from many cultures and they're all a little different. You can use white vinegar in place of citric acid in your washer, as well! I add it into the fabric softener compartment. It doesnt make my clothing smell of vinegar, either. I think it may help keep my washer clean longer, too. I add my essential oils to a mixture of salt and baking soda to give my laundry a pleasant scent. Your idea about your drawers is a good one. It made me laugh. Maybe roll up a tenugui Thank you for another short, but lovely video. I always find them enjoyable. Your energy is the best part. Puts a smile on my face every time.

I love finding new uses for old things. I had a file organizer o wasn't using because my workflow at home changed. But I was looking for something to keep my books organized on my nightstand. And voila! I turned the file organizer sideways and now have a great spot to take books in and out without the others falling over

2:00 I use a tenugui as an eye shield on flights. Make sure you chose a dark coloured one. I've also used one as a scrub cap at work (I'm a nurse), a bandage when providing first aid out on the street, as well as the traditional use in kendo and naginata (a liner for the helmet we wear). Also tied two of them together to make a makeshift belt once too, and also as a bag strap while travelling. So useful!

Thanks you for the video Aki ! On a side note for viewers, be careful with essential oils, it's quite potent and can trigger allergies, as well as interact with some medicine, and some of them are not suitable for pregnant women, chrildren, animals or certains uses. I love them but make sure to do your research and an allergy test on your arm for example before use :)

Very nice info, one thing I noticed , coinciding between other country cultures, especially ancient traditional culture serves a lot and purpose a lot, I think minimalist elements begins there, I have seen in India ( different states) culture and traditions meant for many like the one you have shown, table, mat, storage…. Traditionally many ancient houses in India used these methods for multi purposes, like seen wooden storage trunk boxes, can be used for rare used utensils, dress, or for the any occasional religious festive..l this one works a lot like a vintage decor, storage and easy to maintain… like wise many countries traditions meant for multi uses the things is we forgot to use but your channel remind us to repurpose Kudos to you

He's actually saying it more correctly than the way you're suggesting. The common English pronunciation is inaccurate to the name's Arabic origin. The original name starts with a sound that doesn't exist in English at all, so it doesn't translate well. In English, we tend to mangle words from other languages, especially names.
