Writing it down so it's easier to go back to. :) 1. searching for hearts (heart-shaped objects) 2. writing down things you're grateful for each morning 3. ,,I'm so blessed" as a go-to phrase 4. one good deed meter - doing something good for others and rewarding yourself with stickers 5. simply let yourself experience joy 6. helping bugs 7. 15 minutes walk 8. find one thing to compliment about someone 9. matcha picnic :) (actually having tea in the nature is great, I love it too) 10. ,,miracle water", before drinking water in the morning, thank it for creating miracles that day. Thanks for another video, Aki!

When I’m walking my dogs after the rain and see earth worms in the road headed away from the grass, I gently pick them up and move them back to the grass before they get run over or dry out. I’m sure my neighbors wonder what I’m doing, and I don’t know it the worms will survive, but it feels good to know I tried. Thanks for all these extra tips and have a truly happy new year Aki-san.

You saved a life! These comments are making my day! I feel like I have people! I have always felt like the crazy bug-saver who believes all life is equal and important. I feed a cat colony for the humane society and neighbors have gotten upset because lost, injured or elderly cats are outdoors, and receiving food... I was feeling like an island for so long before reading these comments🤗🤗

Love this! Odd fact (but still sharing!) Most bugs, gnats or fruit flies included, are alive nearly 100% of the time I find them floating in water! I dip a small piece of paper towel or tissue in next to the bug, so they stick, and then let them dry out. When I check later, they are always gone! I teach helping bugs and other life to my students at EVERY opportunity. You are great! Thank you from Michigan☃

I love helping animals all the time, the same way when you help the bugs. I leave bread for the birds in my back garden and watch them eat it from my kitchen window. It's so satisfying. Also there's a friendly fox that comes every night in my front door and I like to leave cat food for her to eat. She allows me get really close to her. If I leave the shoes outside, she will grab them to chew on them. These little things make me so happy (not the shoe part, but that's also funny).

A similar thing to "aren't we blessed?" is when I ask my dad if he's winning. He says, "I'm always winning," and then names off something he did recently that was exciting or interesting, like baking a loaf of bread or finding a new patch of blackberries in the woods on his walk. It's nice to remind yourself to be grateful for the small joys of the day and that you can create those moments yourself, with intention. Revel in your victories over life's daily tasks!

Helping a bug out of misery is certainly more fulfilling than helping a human being out, because latter seldom show the same appreciation than the one you get from an animal. Definitely a huge happy moment. I definitely pick up the habit of searching for hearts. That sounds fun and if shared, it spreads love too. Great idea you came up with.

Hi, Aki, my biggest talent is the eye for small things, over years I’ve collected heart shaped stones… so I’ve a little collection that makes me smile, if I don’t find a reason to smile. Your collection of 'feel better habits' sounds wonderful, I even wrote it down, because when I’m feeling bad, I forget all good things and sometimes can’t help myself. But: I’m so blessed😁: finding an uplifting video from you helps to remember my talent. Thank you so much! It’s kind of sad, that you’re no more teaching children, positive teachers are rare, but I feel gratitude that you’re sharing your ideas here. Maybe you should give classes/courses in schools every now and then ? My husband was an enthusiastic teacher for about 35 years and still have contacts to his first pupils every now and then. They all remember him, especially the bike tours and the songs he played with the guitar, that still makes him happy. Love from Germany, Monika❣

Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Christina Ann Tucker, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

Dear Aki, it is a joy to watch you, thank you for your videos. I wish you every blessing in 2025. I can say from experience that a daily gratitude practice combined with saying the Metta prayer for myself and everyone supporting my life - that includes shop staff and 'teachers' like you - totally turned my life around. I had huge health and other challenges, marriage breakdown, financial worries and was in total despair. One year later, much healthier and happier and so many wonderful miracles have occurred in my life. Much love, Louie.xx

A lovely video again! With your walk and noticing I think you may like the book I just started reading, ‘On Looking’. It is reflections from a lady who decided to take the same ‘every day’ walks around the block with 11 different experts-the first being her very young and excited son-to see how they saw the world differently and noticed different things. Already I am looking for more things on every walk I take. Also, I made it a resolution to learn about Matcha this year and received my first matcha bowl and whisk as a birthday present last month. I am excited to learn to make and enjoy matcha.
