As a medicine student from Spain, I find this video to be helpful and lovely. It brilliantly combines a solid theoretical basis with practical ideas. Thanks a lot for the effort and information !

i can think of one reason, it's better, more visual, more hands on than a textbook + it's easily accessible while being high quality educational presentation. Although that's just me taking a stab at it.

This was a perfect easy to understand and very interesting explanation of why my husband is in hospital right now. Thankfully no stroke, but he's had Afib for on and off 8 years. He's just been admitted for heart attack? But they have found three clots in his heart. One at a T junction? Whatever that means. He's awaiting a triple bypass at Papworth hospital Cambridge. Thank you for making these videos. Life saving information.

At the start of covid in the United States (2 weeks before its announcement of arrival in kirkland Washington) I went for a casual “let’s get back in shape mile run” and I had shortness of breath. The recovery lasted most of the day trying to catch my breath. The breathing exhaustion existed a few weeks prior to that. I thought I was out of shape (note I am a healthy 26year old) I as well encountered leg and back pain which got progressively worse. Thought it was sciatica. Later going to the ER after my leg started to swell, doctors found out it was a DVT and pulmonary embolism. We went through all the blood tests and structural deformity analyses ie, may thurners syndrome. (Compression of the IVC and Aorta) it was not the case. I believe it was covid and am on blood thinners. I fear for a stroke or blood clot but don’t know the signs. And seek control. And awareness it would be interesting to see your perspective. I know you may not be a blood specialist, but maybe you agree a little given the link between covid and clots? Idk just sharing my experience

Apparently covid can break down neutrophils and cause them to capture clotting factors which in evolutionary terms were meant to capture infections in the blood stream so it in a sense makes you hyper-coagulable. I’m just suspicious and feel like I’m ahead of the docs. Who don’t have the time to say or research if what I’m saying is true. It can be stressful

Would a clot in the right atrium get stuck in the lungs before ever getting to the brain? It would seem like only a left atrium clot could get to the brain.

I have A-Fib & have been shocked several times but it doesn't get me back into rhythm. I also have heart failure. In 2021 I had 10 mini strokes. I had them 2 at a time. 2 in early jan, 2 more in feb, no more until nov, had 2 then, 2 at begining of dec & 2 more at end of dec. Then had an epileptic seizure at end of Jan 2022. In june of 2022 i had a watchman put in my heart to catch any blood clots. So far no more strokes. Could you do a video about how the watchman work?
