As of Monday, the SFMTA tells us of the 3,600 that are expected to make life easier for Muni customers, only 300 have been installed. abc7ne.ws/4aLSvEi

Let's stick with the facts. When you have a society that measures an indvl success on his wealth without any thought to how it was made and what it is used for... this is what you get. As a local business owner I am BY NO MEANS advocating some 'get outta jail' pass, but I'm also never let down by humanities' reactionary love for repeating the past. And I am not going to even answer to the McCarthyism rhetoric that has as much legitimacy as flat earthers. My deployments to Afghanistan as a paratrooper speaks for itself. But you'd be blind to think there isnt a push for us to be obsessed with wealth. It's not about materialism but it's about reinforcing the status quo. Rarely is the role of govt, business in our communities every discussed since the shameless miscreant who busted my glass door is the obvious issue and relentless PIA. But no one ever talks about the world where these various levels of govt employees (many who have the gall to say they are serving their country and not their own interests) initiate these "projects" with questionable intent and contractors. Even moreso is the absolute disregard to handle many of these societal issues seen outside in the streets and see contracts handed out to nonprofits with questionable intent. When you have the upper management of some of these NPOs make six figures You need to start wondering if some of these 'hot topics' (spotlighted to enrage privileged stubborn fools), are really red/blue issue they want us to believe or a greater socio- economic issue. I ain't no professor, but when I see "war mongering" military contractors charging 1000x amounts and "hippie commie" homeless NPOs doing the same... You need to start examining the causes of the reactions that come out from within and what is causing it and why. Because I assure you like this issue is far more grayer than we want to admit. Now you can say that I'm wearing foil hats but I ask viewers of this video...why is it that even minor news bits like these bus stop signs start with (what is clearly) city MISmanagement but somehow always goes back to a certain issue It ends on that during certain very natural human emotions. Because it was the vandalism that led to these bus stops being delayed cause so much disruption that they were able to succeed in installing only 22 since 2015 but hey they got more money right? We need to wake up This is a social economic war and the status quo will use every emotionally jarring issue to instill division and they rather see this country fall because for them to lose the influence wealth and power it might as well be the same thing. And like this news bit while they make a card and while they may they expose there will always be something that is more in raging and personal to us that will be utilized as a tool to ensure that real change is never made.

How hard is it to put in bolts properly? SFMTA most important task: EXCUSES. Come on. A crew of 3 should be able to plant 1 an HOUR (pre marked utility cleared. ) Bash a hole in the crete, bore a post hole, Plant the pole and pour new fast setting crete. Move to Next site.

Whatever happened to the 1998 vote that forced Muni to have a 98% ontime rate and its still lower than 80%. How about that. And no vermin, that is NOT where you catch your bus. Your bus is a Greyhound out of SF and back to wherever you came from, and if it was from here, then you're still not welcome, get on a Greyhound and go to Florida.

A lot of people are not from San Francisco and as a native, I feel that unless we have strong safe presence of police on the ground in our neighborhood’s random people will try to ruin our neighborhoods. These random violators need to be known so we can protect ourselves.

There are only two kind of native San Franciscans in existence; the affluent who have been awarded enough protection in their neighborhoods and the poor who have bared the crime for decades or have been gentrified out to Antioch. So it’s a problem that really only affects the south/ east of SF not west or north

SFMTA's sole purpose is to slow down traffic in hopes to force people to take mass transit. Working for the city, you see this first hand. The closure of JFK in Golden Gate Park turned a complete blind eye to the bay area's residents that travel to the park and require parking. Now parking is pretty much all on the south side of the park which has also increased traffic. Next, SFMTA is working to close the last stretch of highway 1 which is a state property. Now tons of traffic flows towards Sloat Blvd and congests Sunset blvd and pushes traffic into the neighborhood streets of the outer Sunset near the beach. This to closing entire lanes for intermittent buses, to Valencia's horrible bike conversion has caused unnecessary traffic and also damaged sales for tons of businesses due to lack of parking. The range of politics and decisions here in CA range from sound and admirable to just completely illogical. I'm not sure what ism to credit this volatility to.

I love San Francisco but San Francisco was the 1st (tiny) city that I've ever lived in that had 0/no electronic signs at transit stops. I have never noticed the few of these posts up in San Francisco before now. If this was cutting edge technology 9 years ago it is now seriously outdated so the powers that be puchased top quality/ signs but now that 10 years have elapsed, weather or not they were ever installed, they're not even worth maintaining. Most people have a smartphone by now and that's how you can tell when your bus is arriving. We've had cellular versions of that for 20 years in Europe.

I want to hear about lanes of traffic being removed, parking spaces being removed, stop lights being programmed to stay red longer, and all the other restrictions being put on cars.

Yes sir they are trying to make it seem as if traffic is worse. Do you know the federal government gives cities money per mile to put in bike Lanes. That kind of explains it.
