I went for the blue dial version, it is an excellent watch, beautifully finished and one of my favourite watch case designs. Even the nh34 was well regulated 👍

San Martin, like Phoibus and Zelos too, are brands that have or will transcend their AliXpress origins and ascend to the mainstream imho

It’s far from original, this is about as homage as it gets. There is a poor man’s Sub and then there is the homeless man’s version, this is that. It does the job though.

As I am looking through these comments. I'm thinking that @ragetobe is talking about my Glycine review. But the comments are on the San Martin video. So thank you for following up on your comment to sort of get my brain back on track. The San Martin is a tremendous watch no doubt. I have a BB58 Blue and even that isn't even close to the Glycine or San Martin. No question. But for their respective prices. I feel both watches represent solid value. Thanks again for sharing.

In my country, Indonesia, new seiko field gmt SSK025 (black pvd) is priced a bit lower of merely USD30 difference than this san martin watch, help me suggest which one to go with?

San Martin is te budget GOAT, well just after CASIO. I got a seiko form 285us and is just not up to the same lvl, not even close to San Martin.

The Chinese knock-off industry has gotten so good that it is hard to tell the difference- even with Rolexes. My point being, they have the ability to produce competitive watches now. Just from their criminal efforts. Regardless, that is a great looking watch and at a great price point for the western market.

Sure it has no history I completely agree. But looking in the microbrand space they are really killing the game. Only time will tell where the brand goes.
