About 3 weeks ago, I think. Sandheads is still producing. Was out the other day and fish are still biting! As far as dates you'll have to check online for the closure dates. We have all season fishery. Next will be my favourite, winter chinooks and spot prawns 😊.

Depends on your boat, engine size, weight and distance you plan to fish. Definitely not convenient to the pocket but healthy for my mind and soul😊. A day trip can set u back 50 to 140 a day, more or less.

I recommend 22 ft or bigger, whatever engine u choose make sure u have a kicker engine for trolling and back up. I've done it on my 18 fter but don't recommend it. Weather changes quickly and fish is not worth the hazard to yourself or your passengers. Sandheads and local spots, not so big, an 18ft rig like mine does the job. I prefer to have my helm in the bow but maybe on the next boat.
