I been going to work and coming home in the evening and seeing that sand sitting up there been waiting on this video. You know my dad 75 now and can’t do what he use to and I help him every chance I get and I see that you do the same and that’s awesome. As someone that's gone through some health issues this year myself, lawn care has had to take a backseat. I'm thankful that I'm okay but I hate that I've had to let the turf go. I know your dad is thankful for you.

Ventrack has a powered reel mower attachment, but your dad would need the Ventrack tractor. I love how the son is always looking to glorify the Father ❤

Any way to recycle divots Pete? I’m using a cottage craft works reel mower and I love it. I believe they make gang reels also. Built in USA

So, the question I have for the leveling is, why not use something with more benefits than just sand? I was thinking about leveling my yard, which is centipede grass, with a compost mix because my yard has poor soil quality because it is already sand with gray clay mixed in.

Would you be opposed to a powered reel mower? I’m sure there’s some golf courses who need to get rid of some used equipment but would still have lots of life left on it. Or I’ve seen some on market place. I have a Toro Greensmaster 3 from the 70’s that’s still running great. I’d even be willing to help get one running if you go that route. I have the ability to sharpen the blades and get em cutting paper. Just a thought because I don’t think a pull behind will cut low enough for fairway height.

I’m so frustrated with my Bermuda. Everyone seems to make it grow so fast. I just cant get it to fill in areas. No matter how much i fertilize and almost a 1000$ of water and probably another 1000 on fertilizer, amendments weed treatment etc. soil gets hard so fast too. If by next year it doesn’t get better just gonna let nature be nature. Lol I do like your deep aeration idea and sand. That might be my last thing to try.
