Dear Sandi, first of all, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Many many many years ago, when I was a child, I lived with my grandparents in an old farmhouse, we had dogs and cats and ducks ... most of the time, when we go out for walks with my grandpa, our two cats join us on our walks, then ducks did this too ... your video was heartwarming and very special to me. Wonderful. Thanks. Barbara from Germany

Wow Sandi you are a woman of many talents ! All that carving business is impressive ! That stick wrapped with leather and black stitch is an art piece in and of itself. Really beautiful. A very fun-- and as always inspiring-video. Thank you. That orange cat cracks me up.

And with perfect timing, I had my last sip of coffee just as the video was ending. Thank you so much for this video! Fridays have become my fav days due to your videos, they make me so happy and inspired. I can't really put my finger on exactly what it is that makes it, but it sure as heck do! And as I said on instagram, about choosing thumbnail: I just can't resist that tiny axe! :D That model is my absolute fav when it comes to carving! When I was studying historical crafts some years ago, we went on a visit to the factory of Gränsfors and watched them being made. So cool! I've seen a few videos around the tube with ppl making drawing tools from sticks, and gosh dangit, you all make it look like so much fun! I have several jars of sticks standing here and there in my apartment, waiting to be turned into some cool project. I guess drawing tools will be the next thing :) Ok, that was my essay :P Have a wonderful week!
@sandihester4 жыл бұрын
Wow - really?! I'm so glad you look forward to them each week. I try so hard to get one out each week and feel bad when I miss one - but life does happen - or sometimes one just takes longer. Sooo cool about visiting the factory. Yes, go make some drawing tools with those sticks!

Hi Sandi! I love your custom made sketching tools. It’s interesting how the marks they make are their own, limb-like blended with your mindful application. You’re a huge inspiration. Sweet seeing your cat interacting with you, out on a forest adventure. 🙂
