I want to love this, but I think it looks pretty fuzzy at the sides to be honest. Everything also looks slightly on the wonk and wobbles on moving shots. Was this all done on the wide lens? I wonder if it would work better on the tele because there would be less fisheye distortion to start with. On full frame cameras most people try to use anamorphic adapters with a 50mm lens.

Hey great review! Why would i choose a sandmarc wide angle lense over one of the anamorphic lenses? Seems to me the anamorphic lenses have wider field of view if I’m going for that look. This will be for my 13pro just trying to decide if I need that wide angle Thanks for your input please !

( and happy creative year ) I am a beginner and i have 3 questions concerning the use of this kinf of anamorphic lens ( i owne an iphone 13 pro) 1) if i got it right the anamorphic lens is mounted on the wildest lens of the iphone and it will change the final ratio aspect of the video, so i ask myself , how will i mix during the editing the images shot with the two other lenses of the iphone that are not anamorphic ? 2) btw which gumble do you advice me to buy ? 3) last but not least which software do you use ? thank you so much for your help ! best romain

Hi it’s mounted on the middle lens. I would not mix anamorphic with standard footage it will look strange. I now just hand hold but I may look at a gimbal for longer lenses. I use filmic pro to film and final cut x to edit.
