She was our friend on the big screen for over 30 years. She deserves this break from the bottom of the heart. I am watching CBS Mornings and they had an interview with SandraBullock. She’s raising two black children she said something that I have never heard anyone say which is she understands how black women feel raising their children and how you never have 100% enjoyment of raising your child in this world like white women do! thank you Ms. Bullock I appreciate the fact that you said it out loud!

Yeah and she also speaks as a RICH white woman . She has no business speaking as an average person at all. I saw an interview where she told her 6 year old son he shouldn't wear a hoodie because black people get treated differently than white people. Uh...I live in a predominantly white area and it doesn't matter if you're white, black male, female.....If you wear a hoodie in the store, they keep eyes on you.

@@2449559 What about if her son is just walking around Austin? Maybe he goes to the store or to a concert with his friends. Some Texan gun nut thinks he looks "suspicious". That's all it takes. He isn't going to stay at her house 24/7. He also won't be wearing a sign that says " Sandra Bullock's son". Yes if the cops pick him up and he says who he is chances are he will get out of trouble. It could also backfire and make them MORE inclined to give him a hard time. Some racist hillbilly could easily become even angrier if he knew that information.

It's a hot PC subject that is so touchy that few dare to tread, unless what they say is PC. Ms. Sandra is correct in what she said, about black mom's worrying constantly for their kids simply because of their skin color. Just because her kids are black doesn't mean that other ethnicity families do not go through worrying about their kids. Perhaps she herself hasn't live a everyday life like the rest of us. We have kids and the struggles are real worrying about our children. Not just black mothers. I've lost some respect for her. I don't agree with you. It's this thinking says having a certain skin color predetermines things. I'm Asian. My kids are mixed Asian and White. That doesn't matter to me. I teach my children to be strong and stand up for what they believe in and do not let others judge or mistreat them based on skin color. You are strong because of who you are. I don't raise my children to believe in victim hood because of ethnicity but change the world. Be you. I myself grew up in the inner city of Detroit and had many friends of different colors. I saw all types of people bullied and yes, white people bullied greatly not just black people. Yes, all mothers cry and worry for their children.

She couldn’t be any more truthful with her statements that Black Mother’s have faced for CENTURIES! Judge people by their character, not by the color of their skin, better words have never been spoken!!!

Her "real"- ness is why so many people LOVE her. If this (interview) is all just another performance, she deserves more Oscars . . . but I doubt it. HUGE SANDY FAN!!!

Ms. Bullock saying being with family might not be sexy is about the sexiest thing I've ever heard an actor/actress say. Being home with the family and all that goes into family dynamics, good and bad is by far more actactive than all the lights and glamour of stardom. Maybe because family is stemmed in reality and and hollywood is about as far from reality as one can get. I've always found Ms. Bullock to be extremely attractive in all ways.
