Why do you have to buy a shipping label if the buyer already paid for shipping and I’m using my labels and printer? I don’t have to pay for a label on Facebook Marketplace. The buyer pays for everything on there end. I’m so confused. Sorry I’m new to this. That just doesn’t seem right to me unless I’m totally missing something. Can someone please explain this to me? This was so helpful, esp shipping. One thing that’s confusing to me is if I have say a jacket that weighs over 1 lb and I want to use a poly mailer, do I just put dimensions length and width regardless of obvious height change after packing?

No you have to use your own packaging for those. Priority mail free shipping supplies is only for priority mail mailing options.

Update, you have to go where “purchase another label” is and it’ll show you the new label but all the way on top you will find “reprint last label”

For an eight dollar item, the shipping takes 50% of the whole cost of the purchase and shipping would present as a hurdle for sales. So these low price items are not a good fit for getting listed on Poshmark? Do I say in the listing: please bundle to save on shipping?

I am new to your channel and congratulate you on your industriousness. I know from experience it is not easy being self-employed no matter the size of one's business. I am going to politely object to your advice at the 41:56 mark about using media mail for the shipping of magazines. The USPS site instructs that periodicals such as magazines and comic books that contain advertising cannot be shipped using media mail. I personally think that's a bad policy for the US Post Office but they make the rules. If a magazine is truly educational and contains zero advertising then I suppose it is permissable to ship it using media mail but otherwise, no.
