I'm 51 years old and I still record All in the family and Sanford and Son. I've seen all episodes of both shows too many times but I still laugh even though I know all of the lines. I would have loved to see more of this reunion.

Demond Wilson was there (Lamont). He is seen very briefly at the very beginning of the clip. Taking the group photo. He's wearing a shirt that says 'Glory to God' Ministries. He has been a minister for many years, now.

My grandfather would race home every Friday and watch S&S to get a good laugh. I think that laughter kept him alive and strong for 94+ years. Aside from just being plain funny, l also think that the reason S&S stayed on so long is that it never changed time slots.

I grew up in vegas & actually got to meet Red Foxx with my family. He was selling some things at his home & we got to take a picture with the truck. He was a really nice man & he told my sister "you sho is pretty".. I will never forget that moment :)

I remember an episode of 227 where Whitman & Lawanda made a guest appearance on there when Mary, Rose, & Sonya went to the grocery store. I've got it on dvd, hilarious stuff. They don't make tv like that anymore.

Actually they did. I think it was in the 90s but they did a little reunion show on TBS I think it was. It was the whole cast IIRC. You might be abld to find it somewhere.

John Slade it was in the 80s as Redd was still alive. He comes out as Esther talks to tourists about how the truck always broke down but one person questioned it.

They don't make TV shows like this anymore. Even the shows that dealt with sometimes controversial subjects did so gracefully and respectfully. Then there were others like the Andy Griffith Show that taught values and morals. The humor was clean and funny. The battles between Aunt Ester and Fred are forever classics. Long live this show and the memories that it gave us all.

I am 62 so I was a teenager when the show aired and as a tribute, I set up my phone so when I get a message or email I hear "you big dummy". RIP Fred and the rest of the cast, except Demond who is still with us.

:30 you know rollo was a real player, he still got that "you understand" in his lingo. Will Always be in my top 3 shows all time. Particularly those first couple seasons when you had people like Richard Pryor and Paul Mooney writing a lot of the material. The dvds without the edits are even way funnier because Esther and fred use the N word freely. Unbelievable chemistry in that show, the side characters, bubba, uncle woody, Grady, absolute classic
