My favorite part of Paris is the ninth arrondissment. It’s like walking into a storybook..the flower shop, the old fashioned butcher, the corner fruit store, with so many fragrant strawberries, that the whole street smelled like strawberry perfume! There was a quaint cafe with croissant so light they almost floated! Magnifique! You are right Sanne, take the time to, as they say, smell the roses, when possible, live in the moment!

Lol when I had stayed a semester in Paris, for the first half of my stay I couldn't stand it (mostly because it wasn't anything like I had imagined in my head) but the last two months I decided to appreciate it for what it was and I fell in love with it. I experience the same feeling. I was living in Stockholm for almost 6 years and 0.5 year in Deusseldorf. I wasn't aware how gorgeous those cities are and didn't appreciate much. Now I am back to Bangkok. I have to spend my fortune to travel back to Europe every year because I miss it so much. Not that I don't like Bangkok. I love the street kitchen here. You can find delicious food 24/7. Do you agree? :)

I really want to visit Paris either this year or next year! It's so chic! I lived in Warsaw for the majority of my life and I felt like it was nothing special. Now I live in Florence, and as weird as it may sound to many, I wish I was back in Warsaw. Warsaw has the perfect blend of big city, not overly crowded and many great hangout spaces both inside and outside. I found out that the touristic cites, although beautiful to visit, are horrible to live in, especially if they are not big.
