Theory time: Papyrus says he once lived in a place with green grass, and we can see green grass in many places, all from different universes. But you know in which universe the grass is particularly green? Earthbound. Which would mean that Papyrus and Sans are from Earthbound. Sans is Ness confirmed.

something i thought of is that events like the scene at the end of chapter 2 will become progressively more common. periods where kris gains control will become more frequent and lengthy, leading to points in the story which we have little to no control over. just a theory
