I Saw the flames from my backyard today, I have bin buying tools and equipment for my shop for decades working overtime to buy something new and better for my shop as a result spending less time with the family , there is no way I could save it all if the fire comes here .the fire makes you think about things like instead of working overtime to buy things I should have spend more time with my kids and wife. Decades of time Lost traded For stuff that can all disappear in an instant.

Vlad Alexander yes. I know. You learned something very very important, it's worth more than anything money could buy! Most people only discover this on their deathbed so you are light years ahead of the pack. Sending love and prayers to you and your family!!

@Vlad Alexander... Compared to a Life, all those tools, are just stuff. I know, I have a lot of Tools too, that I would not be able to afford to replace. A $15,000 Weaving Loom, and 4 other Looms of various sizes, about 40 to 50 Thousand dollars worth of Tools, not even including supplies. I'm a Hand Weaver By Trade, and my Business would be Over! Nevertheless, I would do whatever I could to build it back up again!

This it might sound ignorant, the people in these towns are losing everything they have, but, what are they going to do next? Why don't you get together and bring (it sounds innocent) the government to court? The plan to burn Northern California is some years old under agenda 21, they used laser beams to set everything on fire. You will see how the government is going to declare the area as Fire High Risk Area, so they won't extend any building permits in the area so they can keep it for official use, and the legal owners will go to live in small apartments as sardines. Please people, fight back, never give up, not even a step back to gain impulse, fight please

Roy DL I enjoy a good conspiracy theory including 21. But this was just a good time for a windstorm dry air, dry untrimmed 5 foot grass and yellow falling leafs , trees fell on to power lines started most fires, incuding Insurance fraud and maybe some arson. Sadly now on the news they said 42 dead but that's not including elderly and sick dieing in hospital the depressed and homeless as the resalt . So far over 100 are dead as a reasult of the fire I just rounded of what I heard from freands that work at hospital but I don't have freands at all the hospitals so the numbers may be higher .... as for agenda 21 Sonoma Napa is literally the next countrys from tiny San Francisco you just can't fit more people in SF rent is about 5$ a per square foot per day . You know those motels for 30$ a night. Well in SF you can rent 6 sqft for 30$a night . A21 ..Los Angeles is a poor choice for A21 because there is no water. But The whole of bay area would work better for A21 including Napa Sonoma . So I would have to disagree with your theory. The gas electric company is at fault mostly first the fires then they didn't turn off the city gas witch would save meny homes a fire fighter is not going to deal with a gas line if he cant put it out . And im still surprised that power lines in America still don't have cut out switches boxes installed on the electric poles at least every couple of city blocks when a power line rips a simple telephone type wire rips along with the power cable it switching off the power to the cutout switch the power cable , preventing falling power lines from arcing on the ground . It's a 100$ upgrade per block and simple to repair or replace. And it would have prevented some very expressive fires. But knowing California this simple upgrade would somehow endup costing $10.000 per block instead of $100 and the tax payer would pay for it by force if needed probably in a "temporary" 10 year property tax increase and a utility cost increce .

No, fuck "god". Why don't you show your respect to the people who ACTUALLY took action to help others? Why is it that every time people bust their asses for others, this "god" character gets all the credit? Where was "he" when these fires could have been prevented? Where is he while everyone else does all the work? "God my ass".

@SteveFrenchWoodNStuff6 жыл бұрын
Or... you could do the RIGHT thing and thank the people who actually did the work to save lives, rather then slight them by giving the credit to your imaginary friend, who, by the way, didn't do dick to stop the fire(s) or prevent this from happening.
@Kaipi19886 жыл бұрын
I don't believe in god. It was just a phrase of expression. Don't be so offended over phrases dude... even atheists use that incredibly common language. Which by the way, I happen to be an atheist... just not an asshole.

That's his flood light. Unlick most law enforcement vehicles, some departments choose to install a floodlight on the roof, instead of on the a-pillars, like traditional police vehicles. Sonoma Sheriff is one of them.

Why was evacuation left so late?
@babybrat29586 жыл бұрын
Irene, Do you have any idea how many rural homes there are between Calistoga and Santa Rosa...with how fast this fire was moving, first responders were quite literally doing door to door evacuations starting with people who are immediately threatened and directly in front of the fire. Wind driven fires also tend to start spot fires a mile ahead of the fire.

Like most police and fire workers, they waste words and breath yelling, "…where are you AT?" instead of, "Where are you?"
@JH-di3nu6 жыл бұрын
They waste words? You do realize they have their own language with codes instead of words..
@bjs20226 жыл бұрын
J H Yes, they have their own "code." It’s indicated by the failure of their basic education including English grammar. For some, the police vocation typically does not require a college degree in which the failings of their high school English class training would be corrected. The rule is you do not end a sentence with a preposition.
