I loved the end with the guys doing little air walks and judo airs. Reminds me of when I was riding an original Natas board from SMA/Santa Cruz. Me and my buddies would do these same tricks of little launch ramps that our dads built for us. Thanks Pops! 👍🙏

I love doing grinds so damn much. The sound of metal on concrete is the greatest. It's just so damn aggressive and out there. I'm going to need new trucks soon just because of the ledge and curb near my apartment. It feels even better on a wide board like a 9 or 9.5 with some Ace 55s or indy 159. A nice and responsive truck with softer bushings. It just flows for me.

@@jaxon.frandrup for me it comes down to the deck. On larger wheelbases I prefer ace and some risers for a little more height. It takes a while to break in bushings though but stock is better than bones or shorty's bushings.

I remember getting my first Natas board and I definitely thought I could Ollie higher because it was his board! LOL. He was just such a legend on the street, I remember watching Wheels on Fire and Streets of Fire or whatever they were called. Seeing him rail slide that big garbage can at the end of his part in that first video blew my mind! 🤯🤯 I’d do anything to get back to those days again.

This was my Christmas present in 88 or 89 can't remember . It was a complete red paint indies and Santa Cruz wheels . Best days ever! It's so funny watching the front crook challengr cause ya gotta go fast on that ride. That board back then was the BEST of my life I can still feel it under my feet just watching you guys skate LOL . Natas changed street skating forever, all small town kids realized they didn't need ramps and parks. Ya gotta skate faster for those crooks ys gotta surf like Natas did . That nose was short but I was able to nose manual and hang ten for blocks . It's all about finding the center of gravity which is freaking heavy. Nowadays it is so hard skating big boards after you get used to long nose shapes ...Honestly I think that shape would be better with an inch and a half more nose. Popping nollies was hard with that little pointy tip but it was only pointy for a few days anyways before chipping it out on a curb. I'd love to see old shapes blended with new size modern length noses.

I had three Natas decks in a row. 1988-89 after SMA was re- released by NHS. One was purple stained. One of my all time favorites
