For me this lineup will definitely the best Santana period. Tom Coster is a God and allowed Carlos reaching the top. But Gregg Rollie was also fantastic and important for Carlos career. He could stay along Tom Coster ! Lear , perazza, Raul , Pete escovedo whom his daughter Sheila E. appears in this video, Orestes vilato later formed dream team with Dave Margen ( best bassist) and Greg Walker... one could just add Alex Ligertwood and Neal Schon to create the ultimate lineup ! Carlos did it in 85 but they weren't as happy as the 70... So I think this moonflower period remain the best for Carlos. He lost his famous sound shortly after, when he left his famous Yamaha SG 3000 for insipid prs and dumble amps... and when he left Tom Coster...
