Thanks! I'm sure the fog was from the previous owner, I bought it on eBay and I think there was some damage not listed when I got it. Buying it new you should be good

The reason for the condensation is because the humidity was above 35% when you closed the case back up, Marc is wrong. Just keep an eye on the weather or run your AC on the max dehumidifier setting and use a puffer or let it sit for a bit and you'd be able to go from a walk-in freezer to a baking hot kitchen and vice versa without any fogging. Not bad for your first mod, can't expect everything to go smoothly if you've never done it before. Worst case scenario is destroying everything your sebaceous fingers touched lol. I started with Vostock just in case I messed up cause parts are readily available for dirt cheap. Instead of finger cots use synthetic fiber gloves that don't shed fibers, they can be washed a few time too, maybe more on delicate cycle. Jewelers gloves can be used too but cotton isn't ideal. Ex unitate vires.

When I bought mine, I believe the exact name of the crystal was "Low Single Dome Sapphire Crystal", and it was virtually an identical match. I think I opted for the clear AR but I can't remember for sure

At the beginning, you should've opened up or loosened the case back before placing it in the rice or dessicant. And maybe in the dessicant after the new crystal was installed.

Yup. I had some condensation form in my Phylida Aqua Terra homage. Took the case back off and left watch on a sunny window frame for 30 mins. All fixed.
